Everyone seems to be calling this pardon as an unjust verdict - I now have a Q for all - what would have been the correct or lets say Just verdict in this situation. The main points of the case are -
The ones brought to justice are 15 yrs and 20 yrs. at the most.
They have not committed any treason nor have they revolted (bhagawat)
They are both impulsive and immature.

As for the case - all do know the facts of this case. So what do people think would be the Just verdict for this case????

😆 Now we should send our brains on vacation and watch this show. 🤣

Also this Jalaluddin Muhammad is EKs fictional patnivrata character lets not bring the real Akbar anywhere in comparison with him. 😆

Lets all call a spade a spade - and call this pardon what it actually is - a populist decision - only EK has couched it in sugar syrup!!!! 😉😆

Ads, I am not against his judgement or pardoning the couple. As u rightly pointed out, they are mere kids. btw wat was the minimum age tat Jalal said in his law during the tasneem's track?

Since they are mere kids, dnt u think Bharmal/Maina shd have a say in this as they are her parents. I know he has passed the judgement as a king. But I feel he shd hv asked for her parents' consent as well.

I agree tat as a king, u can either punish them or release them. But their marriage doesn't come under his jurisdiction. Remember, he said the same during Mazhar case, he cannot marry them as its their personal issue.

So how cud Jalal decide by himself that they can marry each other? Even though he didnt admit openly, we all know that part of the reason y he passed this judgement is cos she s Jodha's family. Now, wat if Jodha was how we thot to be (even though she is not😆) and got even more madder at him for getting them married?
