The 40's Bombshell - Begum Para

Begum Para was a Bollywood actress, famous in the 1940s and 1950s. She appeared in around 17 films. Begum Pra was married to actor Nasir Khan, Dilip Kumar's brother. The couple had three children with actor Ayub Khan being one of them.
She returned to silver screen after 50 years and was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. She died in her sleep on 9th December 2008 at the age of 81.

Dunno. May be she adopted the illegitimate of her own daughter.

Oh wow! Her dad was a high-court judge of Bikaner.. unlike other yesteryear's bombshells who were mostly from brothels or poor family.

Really! If true, then it was very common those days. Even Shagufta Rafique's mom was actually her naani. Kamal Sadanah's mom was Rafique's real mom.. whom she used to call "Aapa".
