hey, i was reading some posts and someone (don't rememeber who's) said nakul had a serious illness and that was the reason for his absence from the show (me thinks he went to buy himself some lip balm. god knows he's in dire need of it). and i was wondering, what if this show was one of ekta kapoor's and nakul was indeed seriously sick.... here's what would probably happen:
nakul has something like lung cancer 😛 and is in the last stage (wouldn't he have started coughing out blood from a couple of stages before? nope, not here. whoever said fact is stranger than fiction....😕) and would be due to die any day. everybody starts dressing in drab (including tia, but in her case, she starts dressing in normal clothes = drab for her😆) and shedding bucketful of tears. after a couple of months worth of episodes, nakul is finally shown dying.
for another couple of months of episodes, everybody mourns his death. meher takes to wearing white salwars (suit her much better if you ask me. i hate her dress sense on the show), and crying bucketfuls of tears 😭 all the while recounting each and every memory of nakul in slow mo (which takes up a couple of hundred episodes. oh, and don't forget the irritatingly loud music blaring in the background).
ranveer vows revenge against the doctor who medicated nakul (hum nahin mante ki nakul bana cancer se mare. use maar diya gaya tha aur jab tak hum iska badla nahin lete, aisa kharaab sa chehra banakar rahenge camera par spit karenge....) and follows him to bangalore where he joins another "elite" school where his daughter studies but falls in love with her, forgets about the whole revenge thing (at least here, if not in the real remix!)and ends up marrying her.
this gives tia enough reason to turn into a vamp, wear even more outlandish clothes with enormous jewellery and utterly gaudy make-up. (i think the vamps on ekta's shows need a new make-up box after every shot or something😉). she vows ki "agar tia ne ranveer ko us chudail (look who's talking) se nahin cheeni aur us chudail ki zindiagi barbad nahin ki, toh tia ka naam bhi tia-ahuja-hona-koi-aisi-waisi-baat-nahin nahin hai... (and makes some constipated expressions which make you think of calling a paagal-khaana) Puhleeze (which happens to be her tagline her as well)!!"
[by now the script writers run out of more ideas (as is happening in the real remix) and the show takes a 100-year leap. but all the main characters remain as youthful as ever. aashi's mom is 150 years old and so are pallo and sumeet. but they are as hale-and-hearty as ever.]
meher is married to some eye-candy nincompoop with no brains of his own but manages to run a multi-crore business, has kids of marriagable age who have as many probems as 999999999 of us would face in all our lifetimes put together.
she is shown happy with her family. suddenly out of nowhere, some strager comes into their lives and haunts her dreams. soon it is evident that the stranger is in fact nakul (well, who would have guessed!😳). apparently he survived and got plastic surgery done (who knows why!!!!) and now he's a totally different person (actor)!
he wants meher back and know she loves him too but she puts her family first (how considerate) and the maan-maryada of her family name is more important to her than herself (which means she doesn't want to leave the family's bank account).
tia finds out and gets nakul to join hands with her. she also gives him some fashion tips which results in nakul having long and uglily coloured hair and pinkish-red contacts. she even gives him a course in make-up and dialogue-delivery.😆
they chalao a chaal and meher ends up alone in some haunted bunglow. she gets scared and suddenly nakul turns up. she turns to him for comfort.
meher is pregnent. nakul and tia cunningly inform her husband that the child is not his, but nakul's.
his reaction to the news takes up another entire episode. (he is shown from every angle with the kind of side effects and sound effects that should be reserved only for movies like Exorcist and Evil Dead)
he is shattered and decides to leave the house. he's driving a luxury car to the nearest temple to seek solace in idol worshipping some mundane god when he meets with and accident....
