i know this one supposed to be in hollywood forum but m posting here coz the last film had a huge impact on BO...it made a record for a hollywood release and this time it was marketed pretty well so everyone assumed it will do well here as well ! ! !

BUT WHAT HAPPENED. it couldn't even come close to the first one. in terms of BO. personally i liked the previous one better. this one was totally messed up but the performances were brilliant.

please share ur thoughts. i want to know what people think of the decline of the second installment.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 fell badly on Monday with business in the 2.75 crore nett range. The collections are around 55% lower than Friday but a lot lower than Saturday and Sunday.

The film has grossed around 33 crore nett in India in four days and its looking a 40 crore nett week as a best case scenario for the film which will make it tough to get to the 50 crore nett mark which was the business of the last Spiderman film.

Even if the business does somehow edge past the last Spiderman film it still means the franchise is not really going forward in the Indian market.

The whole amazing spiderman series is bad . Sony should give the character rights back to marvel studios

Haven't watched this movie yet but I prefer Tobey Maguire's Spiderman series more

i didn't both the films they were just abt OK.

SAM RAIMI's parts were the best (didn't like the third one)

when the first spiderman came, the crazy for animation and VFX was pretty high, 2012 seems to be the best period and that explains the movie did so well. but now it has declined, and so business of the film too ..

btw it was really stupid to promote the film on the show BALVEER pathetic truly 😵

No. The marvel movie company doesnt have rights of X men,FF or spiderman .

They r ruining it!
I cant digest Andrew Garfield as Spidey,Ema Stone is a miscast..so never will watch it
And,Spiderman isnt enough,I heard Ben Affleck will b the next batman😆

I prefer the amazing spiderman. It made more sense. As a true marvel fan I will say that andrew garfield is the best spiderman. Truth be told I hated mary jane so I was glad for gwen stacy. The reboot was really much too early but any change was welcome after that god awful spiderman 3. 🤢 Still get nightmares of my favourite super hero getting ruined. Spiderman 3 was the reason why people were so excited for the reboot and even though amazing spiderman 2 was not as great as the first it was still a million times better than venom
