Hello YHMians,IshRains and DivAnis,
This is my first fanfiction on this forum and the second on IF. This was written on an impulse and shared while on the same high.I am not quite sure if it will be accepted because its a light piece and a bit OOC.It might be boring at times but I have this absolute urge to write whatever I think of that I haven't quite manage to squish yet.
This piece is dedicated to all the writers on this Forum ,who, with their brilliant words and thoughts have inspired me to write something after a long while.Thank you for the Inspiration.
This is set a few months in the future and Ishra are friends here,if not a couple. There are things below the surface but they have build up this connection all over again.Hope you find my interpretation to your liking.
I apologise in advance for any spelling or grammar mistake. This was written in a frenzy of thoughts and posted during the same high.

Don't Stop Me Now
By Vidya29
Raman Kumar Bhalla was busy bickering with his daughter over the validation of her word "Syzygy?!", when Ishita entered the room heaving a cardboard box marked 'Raman'.
Her curiosity piqued, she watched the exchange between father-daughter while she placed the box down by the coffee table and smoothed down her dress absentmindedly.
They both sat cross-legged on the bed playing a game of scrabble or trying to play a game at all. Raman was up in his arms refuting Ruhi's claim, while she looked cross. A smile broke out on Ishita's face and she continued observing them. The two of them were too alike for their own good, she thought. Now that the battle lines were drawn, things won't be boring at least.
"It's a word then. It exists?" Raman queried.
At Ruhi's determined nod he asked her to "Pronounce it then" with a smugness characteristically Raman. At that Ruhi paused mid nod and looked a bit unsure, gaining Raman's victorious smirk. She floundered for a while and then sighed in defeat,"I don't know how to pronounce it".
"But it's exists, I am sure. I read it on the Internet", she quickly insisted. And the fight resumed. As father-daughter groped around the bed for Raman's mobile to check her word, Ishita sat down and peered into the box she carried in. Mummy-ji had given it to her for Raman to check. She had said it had things from his younger years that he quite treasured. Thus, for propriety's sake she asked Raman to come and check the box and he dismissively asked her to do it instead. The man was busy proving a 6 year old wrong, you see. Thinking that, she started looking through the box's contents.
