Bani under scanner, Madhubala to wind up on May 24!

Bani - Ishq Da Kalma that started a year ago and had a slow start is under the scanner. Of late, the serial hasn't been rating well, and the track between Sohum (Adhvik Mahajan) and Rajji (Neha Bagga) isn't being well-received, inform sources. "People want to see the Parmeet-Bani (Gaurav Choudhary-Shefali Sharma love story) but currently the serial is focusing on Sohum-Rajji and Bani. Sohum who has suffered a memory loss thinks Bani is his wife and she is also forced to go along because of his critical condition. However, people are not liking it and the ratings are getting affected," says the source. Several viewers have been tweeting saying, 'Nooo, can't see Bani Sohum's scene together' and 'Can we have Parmeet Bani chemistry back please'. When contacted, producer Damini Shetty said that she is unaware about the serial being under scanner. "Right now, two of my actors have gone out of town to promote the show. If it is under scanner, why would they be promoting the show?' she questions.

Meanwhile, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is also facing closure. Speculation is rife that the serial that has been in the news since it took a 20-year-leap will wind up on May 24. First Vivian Dsena was ousted when the serial took a leap, and a new actor Gunjan Uttreja was brought in opposite Dhrasti Dhami's new character. Later producers Saurabh Tewary and Abhinav Shukla had a fall out and Abhinav who is producing the serial brought back Vivian. Soon Gunjan quit the show citing creative differences. However, despite all the drama they haven't been able to stop the downslide in the ratings. Consequently, the serial will be yanked soon, say sources. The channel has two new shows, one by Ekta Kapoor and another by Shakuntalam waiting for slots and one of them will replaceMadhubala.

i've never watched madhubala but when a big sudden time lapse occurs audience often leaves the show.

I hope bani ishq da kalma won't go off air though. I really like this show and hope that cvs will find new twist and turns to show.

If we were on the forum,we would have been banned for our sarcastic posts 😆 The bloppers/rubbish shown in BIDK is nothing compared to some of the other shows😆 BIDK has never been able to pick up TRPs.. Viewers like pure romance, logic be damned.. If there is any good-looking couple, they should spend the whole day flirting.. To give Damini and her team their due, they have not fallen completely for these demands, but have had to pay the price
