I love Sundays! It's one of those days where as I sip on my earl grey and go through my phone's inbox looking at the so called newsmakers' of the week, I can't help but chuckle and wonder what if the aam junta got to see through the charades and get a first hand glimpse of the truth behind these photo-ops, press releases and planted snippets? So here's the first in the series of what I hope will be a sneak peek into the moods and mind of your favourite celebrities, film makers and socialites!

Now that IIFA is done with (read MissMalinis insider goss here!), and Cannes approaches, get ready to be bombarded with reports of how Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might avoid a face off! (And remember when Reuters & Getty Images couldn't recognise them? Oops.)

I remember how cheeky and candid Sonam used to be in her early days in her off record' conversations with journalists. Today's Sonam is more guarded - unless she's sitting on KJo's couch or coaxed into making statements by her sister who I know believes any publicity is good publicity' (which is of course pretty true if you think about it!)

While the industry labels Kareena Kapoor as the quintessential gossip girl, many will be shocked to know that it is Sonam who actually deserves that crown.

Keeping a close eye on competition (Deepika Padukone) and amused by her fashion rival (Kangana Ranaut) Sonam is entertaining and a riot when she's with her gang of girlfriends (and some boys!)

Team MissMalini loves a little gossip session any ol' time so if you ever wanna share Sonam, you know we'd be all ears :)

Are they moving in or not? Who's doing the interiors? Is there a date set for the big day?Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif moving in together to their new plush apartment made it to the front page of a leading tabloid! Really now? But you have to admit that RK and Kat have made it into the power couple list and its a matter of time before they make it official and stop evading the media.

It has been a long road for the two and a bumpy one! Finding someone who loves, pampers and gives himself to her unconditionally has been a tough task for Kat. Her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan still harbours a soft corner for Kaif but has finally accepted the fact, that like his previous exesthis one too will get married to someone else in the near future. Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di... oh wait, we're not there yet!

Also we are told that unlike Deepika, Miss Kaif has managed to find some place in the good books of RK's parents, especially mommy Neetu Kapoor who is the decision maker of the Kapoor family and even gave Kat some advice on wearing bikinis once! There is even chatter that RK is planning to make an official declaration of love at a media event, though my sources are denying this for now. But with the Besharam debacle, Kapoor Jr only needs one chance to woo the naysayers and reclaim that throne!

Meanwhile I have some real dirt on a MUCH public affair between a married actor and a leading actress whose filmy career seems to be stuck in a limbo for a while. But all that and more next week!
