Ruslaan as a Cop

Guys how do you rate Rus performance as a Cop. I would give it 6/10. The character lacked the fire that is required.I think he's best suited for romantic roles this is my POV.

honestly speaking i could not understand ever a single bit of the episode #encounter...loved ruslaan acting...loved ruslaan in cop role. but not satisfying...i like him more as DV.

I think Ruslaan was fine. The writing was pretty bad. I usually watch Encounter and this is the problem in every episode. The writing leaves a lot to be desired and they focus too much on thrills. But thrills have to be supported by good writing. If the writing isnt good an actor cant do much. Unlike JLZ a where the writing in the initial days was really good and all characters were given good build up for Encounter Ruslaan's interviews gave better build up. Otherwise what did we know about Pravin Joshi?

Only one thing I will point out...Ruslaan uses voice modulation pretty well. He did that in the scene when he is about to shoot the killer and this voice lets out he's scared to shoot.

I think Ruslaan has a lot of potential in Action roles. His body language (especially when he kicked the door open) and posture (when he had the gun aimed at the bad guy) was excellent. His voice modulation and expressions shows that he can carry an action role with ease. He is definitely a good actor.

I have watched parts of Encounter's earlier episodes and felt that the writing and direction are not upto the mark. Popular actors are taken, but they all seem to over-act in their roles. Costumes/getup seem substandard too. I was skeptical about how Ruslaan will be portrayed. However, was glad it didnt go overboard and Ruslaan pulled it off very well and did complete justice to his character. Inspite of having shorter screen space i think he did a good job.

The show Encounter in my opinion wont have a long run in its current format as the only thing you will go back to watch is Manoj Bajpayee.

10/10 for ruslaan's acting

I loved him as a cop. His attitude and body language was perfect. But the show itself is a dud. The storyline was very weak, less screen space for Ruslaan and it ended when the action sequence started and was getting interesting .

The channel disappointed fans as usual

I give 10/10 for Ruslaan. He does whatever is given to him...convincingly.
