Ranvi enterting elections forcefully was expected

Just saw the SBS segment and I was not surprised to see Ranvi entering this election due to pressure from his family, it was expected since Ranvi never had any desire to follow in the footsteps of his father and father in law

Then there was Veera, is it really much of a shock that she would be her brother's biggest supporter and not Baldev's? Veera is obviously going to think her brother is the best man for the job not only because he is her brother but because she has yet to realize there is more to Baldev's Sarpanch dreams. Veera does not know Baldev craves for his father's love and wants to prove something to him.

Ranvi entering the elections with the support of Balwant and Veera is going to bring out the serious side to Baldev which is needed in this track. I want to see the fire in Baldev, the anger, pain, it all needs to be there since we have seen since the leap how much being Sarpanch means to Baldev. Baldev needs to be shown in a serious light with some RanDev tashans taking place otherwise what is the point to this election? It would be a pointless track which was hyped for months

Agree with you Mandy! Ranvi being the selfless guy that he is wants his family to be happy, and that means running for sarpanch even though he is not interested.

I get that veera will support Ranvi since he is her brother but she should still be supportive of baldev's sarpanch dreams. I agree that this rejection by veera and Balwant will bring out the focused hardworking AYM Baldev who will do his best to achieve his dream of becoming sarpanch.

Yup, it was expected. But I don't like the sound of the 'only' deserving candidate. And further more, Veera put her wish of seeing Ranvi as Sarpanch rather than what he wants. Whether Veera likes it or not but Ranvi is a married man now.. what his wife wants should be put into thought as well. It's not important that only her wishes will be put above other people's.

It is not only Veera though, Ranvi will be pressured by more than just Veera and while its unfair to him this was the expected move by the CVs after numerous hints that Ranvi would be taking place. It was always going to be Ranvi v/s Baldev.

Ranvi is going 2 destroy ballu's dream..so sad..bt m hoping to get lots of amazing scenes in sarpanch track..baldeva rox 👏

I think her pushing Ranvi in the Sarpanch election is her briliant plan to get Ballu off her back...she knows how much he wants this (but I don't think she really knows how badly he wants it and why he truly wants this...it's his dream😡)...she was probably hoping that it would piss him off and they'd go back to their nok-joks and being "normal"...she doesn't understand her changing feelings for him...it probably scared her and now she's looking for a way out...but...

@Tammy I agree with you too bud...but I'd like to add that even more than what Gunjan wants, it is what Ranvi truly wants that should count...my hope for Ranvi (but as always it's a fools hope) is that he mans up and starts being himself again...stick to his guns, not be swayed by any of the people in his life...he has a voice and he needs to start using it.

I think this track will be good for Baldev, whether he wins or loses it will take his character in a different but positive direction or so I hope.

There are many speculating this is the plan Veera has in mind to get rid of Ballu and it may work temporarily because these elections mean a lot to Baldev but it won't be forever. The type of feelings that have developed for both won't let them be apart, fate has other things in store for them.

Exactly, Veera does not know how much this means to Baldev. It is more than just being Sarpanch, its about winning a place in Balwant's heart. I saw the way Baldev's face lit up when Balwant was all praise for him, it was like finally his father appreciated him. If only Veera could see that, it would be great but I guess its too early for that and soon she will see for herself.

I agree with you about Ranvi, it should be about what he wants not Gunjan, not his sister, mother or in laws. This is why I'm torn here, while I believe Ranvi would make a great Sarpanch it is not his passion and there is still that fact he loves to sing. I want to see something come of that.
