Even if Khushi wasnt in love with Shyam before she got married to Arnav, her marriage to him wasnt easy. You have established in every way possible how different these two are. One colorful, the other black/white, one spicy the other bland, one talkative the other quiet, one a people's person the other a loner, a HIMYM watching the other a workaholic... the differences are endless... Probably that is why they can balance each other out and prove to be perfect for the other. Or just that both are two good human beings who respect themselves, each other and their families and therefore they clicked 😊 My point in showing all of that was that yes, if everyone is perfect then how can someone complete another? You have to lack something for someone to complete you! 😆 That was the basic ideas. So I showed how Khushi lacked what ARnav had and vice versa. It was just plain and simple relationship development.
Add to it the Shyam factor. He was afterall her 'pehla pyar' which is difficult to get over with and upon that Shyam did everything to see to it that Khushi doesnt forget him... Yes, Arnav & Khushi would have bonded faster if Shyam wasn't there!
I felt for Khushi, I really did. She was doing her best to come to terms with her wedding and be faithful, even in her thoughts, to the man she married. She isnt bad...like Arnav said the circumstances wereYou have understood the character! Atleast you didn't call her a coward! 😆
But I felt for Arnav the most. Silently fighting this battle like he has fought all his battles all his life. A wife whom he loves madly but who doesnt return his affection. He can give her all the material things but doesnt know how to make her love him. A wife who claims she wants to be with him but he is riddled with doubts, not about her character but her thinking if it is sorted or not. A wife who runs back to him and cares for him yet dances with her former lover. Finally he saw green and unleashed red. 😉 Arnav tried very hard to become a better man and when he did, he was close to perfect. He had everything in life, but love. That's all he wanted and after everything when he saw his wife dance with Shyam he lost it, like, literally!
That was the push he needed. And the Arnav of his college days which he had quietly tamed, roared back to life and how!
But anth bhala toh sab bhala. Their journey was worth it all. Arnav and Khushi hamesha and he got the contract too ⭐️ Yess!
I do not wish to say anything more about Shyam than what I already have 🤢 I know your tried to create a soft spot for him but a man who yearns for another man's wife while the said wife asks him to shoo away using another woman for this plan is plain 🤢 Upon that he tried the unthinkable. Shoot Arnav? I know he was demented on losing his fantasy but Arnav Khushi hamesha. Bas! Ofcourse, and AK supporter will not be able to understand Shyam but Shyam never yearned for another man's wife, he yearned for a girl who he thought was always his own. He never believed that Khushi liked Arnav, he always thought she loved him and he loved her. He didn't believe in their marriage and before he could realise, he didn't believe in marriage as a whole so he played another woman to reach Khushi. It wasn't big for him but his fantasy kept getting stronger. That's the story. That's his character, he was never a villain but it was a test set by god and he failed, and fell hard on his face.
PS: Mamaji's and Mamiji's kids... you never explored that angle.. their cold shoulder towards Arnav and the quietude in Mamiji's family. I guess you will explore it in the next season which I will read after its completion.
Yes, ofcourse, that is still pending! Lots more to come up in S2. It's a season of resolving everything, once and for all, past , present and future. One last time! 😳 That's what S2 is about!
