yea i totally agree, ive been to mussoorie and trust me there are girls wearing jeans etc...lol so it has nothing to do from where u are...its just that when they make these shows they have to portray the girl as really sanskari and grounded lol u know what i mean...so they try to make her the typical indian girl where in reality most indian girls do where pants but it doesnt send the same message i hope u get what im saying
