Nowhere near as good as TT analysis but from the short promo there was so much to see and understand so tried to put together my take and understanding of that promo.
Watching the promo for the first time, what stood out was Rudra was not pushing away, yelling or being mean to Paro in anyway. They looked like a typical married couple where she was massaging his hair and he looked comfortable with that. It shows that he is now at a bit more at ease with this husband-wife relationship than before, he doesn't mind their proximity as much as he did say 2 weeks ago when he found her in his bed when Mohini and the social worker came to look at them.
Second point to note was Rudra saying "mujhse pyar kyun Paro?" and the fact he is a stone who can only hurt her. When Paro initially confessed her love he wouldn't believe her feelings were genuine, which showed in the convo he had with Danveer at home. Over time he has come to see and often been left speechless at the depth of her love for him. Despite his mean behaviour she still loves him and understands him much better than say someone like Laila who has know Rudra longer.
I think from the way he said it he probably doesn't find himself worthy of the love she showers on him. She is ready to face whatever pain, hurt, insult thrown at her for him. He's been told he's a Jaanvar and Jallad so many times, he tries to behave that way too (to protect himself from further attachment and hurt) whereas he has seen Paro to be so pure of heart, so naive, innocent and an absolute dove. He can't understand how someone as good would feel so strongly for him, see the good in him that so many people have failed to. He tries to be mean to her so she hates him but the remorse and regret is seen in his eyes by her which makes her love him more as she said. The admiration in her eyes, the respect in her voice when she speaks of him baffles him. Remember the look on his face when she said he called himself a thorn and then said "thorns have their own beauty, they never change/die, they always protect the flower". He was awestruck by that.
Paro again compared Rudra to Shiv ji, she said even Shiv ji was stone like him (Rudra) who mellowed. Again shows Paro's strong devotion towards Rudra. It also reflects another parallel - Shiv ji went from hermit to a family man...Rudra is heading from a cold detached man to a passion lover and husband.
Then Paro says it is a test of her love. It's basically whether her love will help him let go of his past, his grudges and help him believe in relationships, trust and start to fully love and acknowledge his feelings again. The test is whether her love is stronger than his ego and stubbornness.
Geez only PaRud and Rangrasiya can bring out such a huge post from just a 11-15 sec promo.
