Okay, I am attempting this one more time and if this thread goes nowhere I am officially ending this series. 😲 Noone has ever talked about RANGEELA that much on this forum. It was the film that made Urmila's career, made RGV a director par excellence, etc. Aamir Khan was also very endearing in this movie and Jackie was okay. 😆 And A.R. Rahman's music stands the test of time. When you hear the music today, it is still classic. I hope they never remake this movie, it is indeed an iconic film. One of my favorite movies of the 90's. Please share your thoughts. 😃

Urmila didn't do that many movies with the Khans. Her pairing with Aamir was excellent.
Wish they could have done more movies. 😊

There are very few movies of Urmila I have liked and this is one of them. Yeah Urmila was looking good with both Aamir & Jackie.

Aamir rarely repeats heroines in his movies. 😊

I actually loved this movie. It's when I fell in love with A R Rahman's music. Aamir looked great with urmilla and they had great chemistry.

Aamir's acting was top notch in this film. His eyes did all the talking in emotional scenes.👏
That was the year when he proved his mettle in serious roles. Akele Hum Akele Tum, in same year was also a good performance.

Aamir's one liners were a Cult!

Urmila looked gorgeous.

Music was classic.

I love the bond that Mili and Munna share in this film.

I do not see Mili as just a sex symbol. It was refreshing to see a girl have dreams to become something in life, create her own identity. Her parents support her and revel in her success too which is another positive point for an Indian film. For a change a girl was focused, had goals other than simply getting married.

Kamal is a good example of loneliness at the top and celeb life not being as awesome as it is made out to be.

I like Mili's clarity. Be it about her career or choice of life partner. She is a strong female character.

Friendly convos between Aamir and Urmila's father, everybody pulling legs of Urmila's sulky young brother, bonding in Urmila's family, Munna and Pakya's friendship are all fun to watch. Also the caricatures of stupid film industry people, heroines' mummies and their nakhras, rude fans and their sleazy way of looking at heroines are another plus point of this film, that make it watchable.

It was amazing movie, Aamir Urmila had a great chemistry, I loved aamirs acting. He nailed the tapori role.
A well enacted story and well portrayed characters, Rangeela will always be one of aamirs best work.
