Exactly my thoughts while watching the episode.
Paro will always have Rudra by her side and kakusa has resigned to his fate. But am really scared for Mythili...

Its too late for Kaku Sa now...but its not too late for Maithili...hopefully something will shock Samrat out of his trance. And about Rudra always being there for Paro...koi Shak??😉

Don't know why I have hopes that we will see him change, we will see him stand up to his mother and fight for his wife...waiting with my fingers crossed !!

Beautiful post! I haven't watched the episode yet.. but what you have described in your post doesn't need the help of the episode to make me feel the nuances of relationships.
The strength of a marriage is not in its duration, but in the depth of mutual trust between the couple.

Flawless in your descriptions of the marriages. I often have thought the same about these marriages in terms of strength. I feel the most for Maitali because she has proved herself to be worthy of a better man.

One sentence, in the midst of the chaos, stood out...said by KakuSa Daanveer...Mhare andar ka DARR shaant ho!!

Fear...was the key!! He did not say that he trusted her, there was no disbelief on his face. No defense for his wife of decades. No siree...for him it was all about fear. The fear he had had for years. A man who lives with a woman for soo long more or less knows what she is all about. And his sentence today, says it all. He was scared that the worst had finally come true. He was scared that his wife had finally done what he was always afraid of. He knew how immoral, utterly inhuman, callous and self centered a woman, she was. And he also guessed that she could go to any limits, any extent, to grab what she desired.
Not for him the arguments, the standing staunchly by her side, unlike Rudra. Not for him the quiet acquiescence of Samrat, no, for him it was a silent prayer, a desperate hope, that she had not done anything wrong in her quest for power. The desolate wish that she was not playing with innocent lives of his own family. The day she will be proved guilty, this man, will have no doubts and will be the first to believe, cause unlike her kids and their spouses and the rest of the civilized world, he knows Mohini, and also what she is capable of.
We saw the contrast between three couples today!! The one that was married the longest, the man had zero faith, and fear in his heart. A marriage that stayed together may be due to societal and familial upbringing and culture. A marriage based on dominance on one side and endurance on the other.
The second married for less no. of years, yet their equation remained in the doldrums. The man here unable to make up his mind whether he was on his mother's side or his wife's. The man who still hasn't learnt how to be a husband or how to be a son, and worst of all how to be a strong human being. A union based on compromises. Two timid and weak souls do not make a strong marriage. There is so called love, yet it has its limitations!! Fear is here too, but under a different cover. Darr indeed !!
And the last, with the least number of days under its belt, was the strongest!! A marriage under duress, apparently between an uncaring man and a devoted wife, yet, today was an eye opener. He trusts her implicitly, and lets no one disrespect her. Standing firm by her side, staunchly and attentively, lending his unwavering support, to a woman who fights a battle for him with his own family. The woman he declares he despises, yet will go to the ends of the earth to protect her and her dignity. And she stands proud and tall and fierce to protect the man she loves. She can battle the whole world and gods above for her man!! Apparently, its love less!! Yet their bond is unbreakable!!
Which marriage is a true union of souls?? You decide.
My heart goes out to the likes of KakuSa and Maithili today...!! Years of matrimony, yet unending loneliness ...!!

Eve isn't this the truth of life though😕 You will find so many types of couples in real world and I am so glad that CVs are portraying each and every relationship so well. 👏 👏

But the real issue whatever types of couple may be the only thing common in them is compromise- which is the very base of the everlasting institution named Marriage.
I pity those who have spouse like Mohini. As that for sure will make others life hell. Spouse like Samrat is even worst as no one knows when will he speak and when will he shut up. I hope that we don't see in coming episodes tussle between Maithili and Samrat due to ladoo saga.
Last but not least spouse like Rudra- Although he seems to be a soul mate he is not perfect. His mood swings and his haunting past makes him beast and GOD forbid any woman have to go through such trauma in real life.
I dont think if there is any such perfect couple in real life. Its the process and both party has to work hard in order to be soul mate. Love alone can not go long. Because with time love takes back burner and its the trust that makes this relation go. The only good point in Rudra-paro equation is trust and that is why that relation is strong. The same trust is seen as a peekaboo in Maithili/samrat case aswell however Samrat does not want to rattle the cage for any reason and hence Maithili is lonely.
Kakusa through out his life knows one thing that whatever will happen kakisa will not do anything wrong with the family and that trust brought him long way. Today that trust is deemed to be shaken and hence there is darr and turbulence.

Wonderful post Evesa
The fear of knowing the evil closely is terrifying

Danveer and Maithilli and Paro have been shown to go that extra mile for what they know is right always

But they are essentially peace loving individuals i

Paro has Rudra so she will always shine brightly, Maithilli has no support from Samrat and she will mostly be thwarted and Kakusa will be played and managed by Mohini till he becomes quiet just to get some peace
