Why did Aditya/Sameer marry Shikha?

I've been wondering this since day one, because in the show the reason behind why Aditya/Sameer married Shikha is not convincing. So he wanted a baby. Why did he spend so much money and time and effort in making a girl fall in love with him, marry him, and give birth to his baby when he could have just - along with Madhu - hired a surrogate mother? If he and Madhu had used a surrogate mother the baby would also have actually been Madhu's as well (Madhu's egg and Aditya's sperm). Or, if anything, they could have adopted a baby. What was the point in tricking an innocent girl and using her??

I mean, if Aditya/Sameer and Madhu had actually been poor, it would have made sense for Aditya to have used Shikha. Clearly if they're poor they can't afford a surrogate mother neither can they afford to adopt a child. So of course Aditya/Sameer would have no choice but to trick a girl into marrying him in order to have a child. But that is not the case here. So where is the logic?!?!?

I know this drama is "inspired" by a real life story, but c'mon, just because it's foundation is based on a real life story doesn't mean the cvs can twist all the details. I'm sure in real life the husband was poor...because if he was rich he would have just used a surrogate mother. Unless he was just stupid. But I doubt it.

Please, share your thoughts.

I agree with all your points! When this show first began, I really enjoyed it. I loved the suspense in trying to figure out Sameer's motive. But when they revealed that it was all for a baby, I completely lost interest. Like you said, Aditya and Madhu are rich. They could have had a baby without all this drama. It's so illogical!

Yeah like I get this is an Indian drama and so we can't expect too much logic, but this is just basic logic the show is missing LOL 😆 Somebody needs to punch the writers, the stupidity of the story is unbelievable

Totally agreed with the TM😊. May be Sameer chose a journalist, so that his baby has intellectual genes🤪.

Exactly I so agree.
Also what doesn't make sense is that the baby is Aditya's and not Madhus
If Aditya was the son of Mahanto Jagannath then it would make sense that Madhu didn't want a child but he needed an heir so they got someone to give birth to his child.
BUt here the baby needs to be Madhus so instead of getting Aditya to father the child , they could've gotten anybody child because the baby doesn't even have Madhus blood anyway.
They should have rather shown Aditya as the jangannath son then and not son in law.
Weird

Really? You're joking right? 😆 I highly doubt this mate...just look at all the other technology used in the show...laptops...beautiful Samsung smartphones...also Shikha was the victim of an ink attack and ink attacks are a new thing in this day and age, not before...
