The new season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa is being put together and if negotiations work out then Romanian telly star and Salman Khan's good friend Iulia Vantur might secure a place for herself among the contestants.
A source on basis of anonymity reveals that talks are on between Iulia and the production house to get her on as a participant on Jhalak. "Iulia is keen to be a part of the show. It also works for the channel as in every season they have one face who is an international star or not from India. There is public interest in Iulia ever since her link up with Salman became known."
Iulia recently made her Bollywood debut in Salman's production O Teri in an item song that caught the attention of many industry folk. The fact that she's been reclusive and not really interacted with the local media also works in her favour. Buzz is that Salman has advised her on taking up the show and use it as a platform to show her dancing skills.
The source adds, "Iulia isn't a trainer dancer but she's a fast learner and loves dancing. If she nabs Jhalak then she will definitely be a strong contender and a force to reckon with. Others confirmed for the show show include Shakti Mohan, the India's Got Talent pariticpant Akshat Singh, Purab Kohli, Kiku Sharda as Palak, Mouni Choudhary, Pooja Bose, cricketer Sreesanth and Kritika Kamra.
