My private opinion , he is right ! A very good actor like Anas need more presence in DABH . Even Sandhya posted to Pushkar now . But she is still acting as a heroine and there is nothing much for him to do in the show. It's actors time, DABH time and our (viewers ) time they r wasting. So like to see balance Surya time in DABH . Good luck Anas !

To some extent Anas is right. Sandy can always continue with her dabangg role but doesn't mean she never looks after her suraji. Wish I see the active suraji who always found chance to romance with sandhya during the Intial days of dabh.
Dabh is womencentric that doesn't mean hero and other people of the cast are not given much important.

Anas Demands More Screen Presence In "Diya Aur Baati Hum"

It is a story of Sandhya and Suraj but ever since Sandhya has become IPS officer, the entire track of the show "Diya Aur Baati Hum" is revolving around Sandhya. Sandhya's husband Suraj sa and her in-laws are hardly seen these days as they were barely required. Sandhya was undergoing IPS training with fellow cadets and most of the time she was shown doing some adventurous task. But it seems the story track didn't go down well with Suraj Sa played by Anas Rashid and now he is hell bent on getting more screen space.

As per a source inside the production house says "Anas is the hero of the show but for the last few months Sandhya is playing both hero and heroine in the show. Obviously he will not like it. So he has put across his demand to the channel Star Plus that he wants his share of screen space. May be he will seen more often now as Sandhya has been posted in Pushkar and joined back her husband and family."

But there is another source that tells another story-"Anas always knew that this will happen. His demands are not sensible. "Diya Aur Baati Hum" is known for sensible track and story so it cannot be twisted according to artists demands. The production house and channel both are tired of his unnecessary demands. He is trying to act pricey.

Well whatever be the real story, now that Sandhya is back with Suraj, audience will surely get some dose of romance once in a while.

Yes he does..All the screen space ALWAYS go to deepika only..which when they have two main.leads its not fair..and forget the main leads...think. about bhabo Emily Meenuri ..and all..

i m finding something lacking in sooraj and sandhya scene offlately ! i loved their relationship during TA but since sandhya has returned everything looks superflous ! she didnt even shared any TA experience with sooraj how they lived apart for 9 months tht diary tht all was missing rather we got some mediocore flirting scene like hiding behind the almirah !

i think its just a phase...of show suraj is an important character of show n always will be...so media making unnecessary stories...dont bother abt it...he will get ample opportunity onscreen in next phase
