The arati starts.. Paro is too agitated.. her mind is not calm.. her eyes worried.. hardly able to concentrate...
As pandithji offers her arati, her eyes downcast.. taking the blessings..
and when she is prompted to make her mannat to bole baba she turns worried eyes at her gods.. and she turns back and answers in a tear soaked voice, barely controlled as she says 'she just wants his life.. nothing else...'
And when asked to sacrifice anything of hers, her eyes are determined... her countenance eager.. as she says she will give anything.. just to see him fine..
And as pandithji says to her about a precious thing, the parting with which will even stun the gods.. her eyes.. pained eyes lose their sparkle and turn bleak as they already seemed to know what was to come and are resigned to their fate.. she flickers her eyes at the mandir... and then giving in closes her eyes in prayer...
As she relives those moments that were priceless for her, she is worried with the way her mind is travelling..
And when the next moment pandithji interrupts asking her what she though.. tears have fallen down her cheeks without her even realizing as she had realized what that precious thing she had to part with was..
And her legs give away under her as the gravity of the loss hits her.. and this time her horrified eyes showed a different kind of shock.. a new loss... and her tears drench her cheeks.
And even while tears choke her she continues to give her promise.. to give her precious Rudra to Bolenath..
And as a shocked pandithji questions her about sacrificing the one she was asking for the life of.. she turns her pained eyes at him..
and as her hands clutch each other in a desperate grip, she presses her lips tight to stop the sobs from wrecking her apart..
And as she stands up she turns eyes as honest as a new born's to the pandithji and tells him that in her life the most important treasure is him.. then how could she lie to Bolenath about it, specially when its for his life..
she joins her hands together. and this time her heart is lighter than before.. because her faith has made her believe that by now.. he is fine.. out of danger.. her expressions are light despite the personal loss she inflicted on herself.. because he is healthy.. she knows it in her heart...
And she promises again to leave him once he is fine.
but as pandithji stops her to give her prasad.. her eyes lose that hope she had moments before.. and she feels the loss she is destined to...
What an absolutely vast range of emotions.. by halfway through this.. i was in tears.. and all i could do hold my sobs as she lose the strength in her feet and sank to the floor was...
Sanaya was amazing in every flicker of emotionn that Paro went through,, that fear, worry, horror, determination, resignation, bleak acceptance, loss, pain, defeat.. hope... all these were displayed so beautifully through Paro...
