I saw a promo for the film today.
Does Paresh Rawal play Tabu's father in the movie? I couldn't catch the all the dialogue in the promo.
I think this movie will be more successful than Nisbhad. It looks like a fun movie even though the theme is somewhat serious. Nishbad came across as a more "darker" film.
Great cast: Paresh, Tabu and Big B. 👏
Films looks promising.
And yes, Big B is a unique actor. He has spanned decades and doesn't show signs of slowing down anytime soon. I just dislike when the media compares him to younger actors like Aamir and SRK. Why mention the actors? Aren't Big B's achievements, year after year, enough?

I am looking forward to Cheeni kum. The songs are beautiful and Amitabh and Tabu compliment each other well. The subject is handled so well.👏

^^^ yeah they are full of praises for each other. Anyways...I am sure this is gonna be a light hearted movie..even the actors seem to have had lot of fun during he shoot. when Tabu pulled AB'S ponytail at last and said that she had longed to do so all the time during the shoot AB said I too wanted to pull your plait... 😆 😆 😆 i GUESS the film is gonna be entertaining but with a difference. Cant wait for it to open in cinema halls

I don't think this movie should be compared to Nishabd. Nishabd was made to look sleazy🤢 and I still don't agree that an actor of AB's calibre should have done that. I don't have the problem with the subject but the treatment was cheap.

Cheeni kum on the other hand is very light yet mature and a good film. It actually conveys that age is not a bar for true love and in a very sensible way.

^^^i disagree there. Nishabd wasnt at all sleazy or cheap. It was very sensitive and mature and sensible. Arguably one of the bets films I have seen in recent times. I am proud AB did the film coz he got the chance to emerge almost shockingly as a much better actor and I personally think it was his best ever performance. But CHK cant be compared to Nishabd. The latter was a serious gray film while the former seems to be a light hearted comedy. (Seems these days I am discussing Nishabd everywhere!)😆

Comparisons are already made between CK and Nishabd in all articles. My views were in accordance to that. You can disagree but I found Nishabd sleazy. It was Lolita and Poison Ivy mixed into one and the treatment was far from sensitive.

CK is not at all like that and comparing both just because of the age diff. between lead characters is not right.

well I cant argue with ur views...Its according to how u view a flm...I liked Nishabd but I cant expect everyone to do the same.N yeah I think its unfair if ppol compare two films just bcoz of this age difference...anyways...lets wait and watch😊
