No Awards For Me ... No Problem - Sonam Kapoor

Fashionista Sonam Kapoor is seen walking the red carpet of all major award ceremonies these days. After all, she was a part of two major movies last year - Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Raanjhanaa. But unfortunately, the actress has not yet bagged a single award whereas her male co-stars from either movies have been walking home with top honours. While Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has proven to be extremely lucky for both Farhan Akhtar and director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Sonam continues to be on the sidelines as far as awards go.
When we asked Sonam about the same at L'oreal's event yesterday, the actress was quite frank in her answers. "I had a special appearance in the movie. It was a 20 minute role. So it doesn't really bother or concern me that I didn't win any awards for the same. It was a film about Milkha Singh and Farhan did the running. I am happy that I have been a part of two award winning movies last year," said Sonam.
Two blockbusters last year and one would think Sonam would be in a position to negotiate for greater fees. But when quizzed about the same, Sonam replied with a curt 'no'.
Hmm...may be one needs to win a few more awards a la Deepika Padukone before hiking one's fees, we guess.
