The realistic Jagya and the idealistic anandi.

The realistic Jagya made some mistakes and idealistic anandi made some choices.

We lost the realistic Jagya somewhere and he has become idealistic.

The realistic Jagya was too real for comfort and we were too happy to see him become a little idealistic and then become what he is today.

Anandi said that the proof of Jagya's goodness is that he saved ganga and also married her and took care of mannu.

It is a personal decision and Jagya did not do it to prove he has done repentance.

The idealistic anandi goofs up sometimes.😆

I'll put this way.Had Jagya not changed his past ways he would have never seen Ganga as an ideal partner.

He chose Gauri over Anandi because he wanted an educated woman with whom he wanted to share every aspect of his life

Had he not realised the error of his ways even if he had saved Ganga he would have never seen her as a prospective partner

For Anandi Jagya letting go of Gauri rejecting Sanchi because they didn't care for his family and chosing Ganga who he is sure will take care of his family is a big enough proof that J has changed.

aparna, I agree partly with you. But if ganga did not happen, what anandi would have said in his defence?

@bold - -What? Did Anandi say that? I thought it was a Love marriage!! But Anandi thinks it is charity??? How can it be a charity love marriage?😕

What Anandi meant was earlier Jagdish was inclined towards so called modern girl like Gauri...

now he mature enough changed too even Ganga being not that educated and plus divorcee had kid too he did not bother about all this follow his heart marry Ganga

A did not made JaGan wedding as Charity...

she just pointed out difference between past J and current J

Jagya was good sometime even before. He saved anandi from kidnappers. He saved Badimaa by obeying her orders whenever he could. He never cheated his patients.

I think she believes he has changed .She probably wanted to illustrate her point so she chose this Ganga's incident.

This is the same old Jagya who did not want to work in a village hospital but came back and started working there and found fulfillment in it too. That's a point too. Even if he had not met Ganga he would have been content working there.

I don't have doubts about his sincerity and his changed nature but I still feel that his redemption track was screwed up it could have been better.JMO.

The villagers are fools not to see Jagya's transformation which took place in front of their eyes.

Does he need character certificates?

Of course she made it look like maarying Ganga was charity. Otherwise how is marrying Ganga good and taking care of her son good when he married her for love? He just had different preferences in these two marriages...but for both he would go to any extent.

Earlier while he was with Anandi, he didn't want a woman who always cooked and cleaned. After being with Gauri, he realized that earning women are dominating...and he can't continue to order her everything. so he preferred a woman like Ganga. What i don't understand is how does this prove him to be a changed good man now?
