hi Everyone

Punjab is under tention bcz of Dera Sacha Sauda

Dera Saccha Sauda ppl claim that they have 2 crore followers in Punjab and Haryana. All the blind followers of these Dera's belong to backward classes, they r illetrate, poor people, dont ready to listen anything even the truth with proofs against their Dera . Their followers believe them blindly ..thats why political parties take advantage of it...in the recent election in Punjab This Dera supported Congress openly.

Dera Saccha Sauda's head Ram Raheem Singh is always been in controversies like,

Killing of one journalist who tried to bring out the truth of this So called "Baba" and "Dera"

Rape of one of his follower girl ( the only one case which blamed him openly otherwise all know that secretly what happens in the Dera😡).

Recently he evoked Sikh people's emotions by imitating tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji. his dera ppl fired and killed one person and left many injured.Now he refused to apologies. he wants to create voilence only to show his presence😡.

now I want to ask

What do you think abt these so called "Dera" and such Babas?

Is "Dera" wad a threat for peace?

Hello! RKHJi,

Haven't read or know much about Mr. Dera, based on what it is sounding from the post IMO

What do you think abt these so called "Dera" and such Babas?
We need to first understand motives for forming such groups and what are they fighting for or against. People being illerate doesn't impact thier thinking of what is right or wrong, having so many followers there should be some specific reason for sure. Unlawfull activities that has been done within such groups are punishable there is no question about that but how to know and execuete legal formalities?? a million dollar question.

Organisations involved in 🤢 activities based on corrupt leadership is definately a threat.

You brought a very nice point " he wants to create violence only to show his presence", that makes me think more - Creating Violence is way to show the presence?? 😕 😊

I had no idea! But now that "dude" has all the power...I guess it's much easier for him to use violence to get what he wants...Since no one will be able to bring him down!

Gawd...How I wish I could just punch him! But I do realise that violence isn't the way out! 😕

The sectarian violence in Punjab continues unabated. Though the reasons behind the violence that has now spread beyond Punjab are not entirely clear, the man at the centre of the controversy is Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the leader of a Sikh sect known as Dera Sacha Sauda.

There were violent clashes between the Dera followers and Sikhs after an advertisement reportedly featured Gurmeet Singh dressed as Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth guru of the Sikhs.

The controversy has been given a political twist with the Akali Dal government accusing Congress of being in cahoots with the Dera and of fomenting violence.

There are also accusations that the sect is under the CBI scanner for wrongdoings. Whatever the facts behind the sectarian strife, the violence must be condemned unequivocally.

Even if it is true that the Dera leader hurt the sensibilities of some Sikhs, there is little justification for the ensuing violence.

The Punjab government is also to blame for its sluggish response to the sectarian conflict. It is, however, heartening that Akal Takht jathedar, Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, has issued a call for peace.

That is the way it should be. Sikhism is one of the great religions of the world, and there is no reason for the majority of Sikhs to get worked up over the actions of a marginal cult.

It is an accepted fact that all world religions have a multiplicity of sects. In India, which is home to all the great religions, this diversity often assumes dizzying proportions.

This is particularly true for Hinduism, which is arguably a conglomeration of several groups and sects — big and small, ancient and new.

This is also true, albeit to a lesser extent, for all other major religions of the Indian subcontinent: Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism.

All these religions are composed of different sects, some of whom are at odds with each other. This is quite natural.

Most religions as they evolve have an established core along with a number of dissenting groups that sometimes go their own way, but usually remain within the larger rubric of the mother religion.

This is the case with Sikhism, too, with groups like Nirankaris differing on certain principles. Such dissent is natural and cannot be stamped out, even if it is antithetical to the original beliefs of a religion.

If this disagreement becomes contentious, as in Punjab, differences must be sorted out by dialogue and not violence.

Otherwise the entire purpose of religion is defeated.

no and organizations like these are the ones that hurt our India a lot. Most of the masses are illiterate and get easily influenced in the name of religion. One more black chapter added in the book of Politics of Religion In India

I totally agree with u, these organisations are not good at all but the worst😡.

this Ram Raheem is a rapist but still his blind followers believe him ,u can imagine what type of places there r, that r called "Dera"😡

with the money of their followers ,badi badi builings bana ke kya kya kaarname karte hai unmein and most shamful thing is they easily use their political powers, iss ke khilaf jo cases the dubara kabhi suna nahi unke bare mein ....kiyun...kahaan gaye woh.....obviously...political power😡

I just want to tell u abt this person " Dera Saccha sauda ka Chaif Gurmeet Ram Raheem ( naam to dekho kaise sabhi religion ko influence karne ke liye rakha hai)

few years back one girl openly blamed him for her Rape, and it was a big issue at that time ( this is not a first inccident of that type, mostly sabhi Dera's ke baare mein kabhi na kabhi aise kaarnaamein saamne aate hi rehte hain)

These type of Dera's are not any religion place, they just borrow some views or Messages of other religions frm other different relegions aur unko apne bhagton ko suna kar bolte hain ke yeh hamare updesh hain😡
