Indian tabloids have now started reporting the same.

The news first came from Fawad's producer/friend who said Fawad is unable to do his show due to a film he's in talks with with Kareena.

Kareena-Fawad in YRF's next? Fawad Khan who will be seen with Sonam Kapoor in Khubsoorat' seems to have quite some luck. News has it that he has been signed for Yash Raj Films' next and Kareena Kapoor Khan has landed the role as his leading lady. Apparently, Parineeti Chopra was being considered for the role to begin with but now it seems that Kapoor Khan has bagged the role. A Pakistani daily reported the news even though there hasn't yet been an announcement from YRF themselves. The buzz is that the story will be intense and the project is expected to get started at the end of the year.
