I couldn't get the head or the tail of this poison business. Meaning neither the throat nor the toe poison scene made any kind of sense, medical or layman. Doctors on the forum...please explain!! 🤢 RIP...logic!!😃
P.S...on a serious note, there are doctors, medical advisors, books, and easiest and fastest and easily available internet...of course there is common sense too...takes minutes cvs...this is totally unacceptable!!

Acute Iron Overdose - but by trying to connect Neelkanth symbolism into it, they completely got it confused... 😕

Excessive iron is very toxic to the gut. It will act as a corrosive, damaging the gut.
First, within few hours after ingestion, the patient will vomit. vomiting is excessive, he may be vomiting blood too. After a while, when iron is absorbed from the gut into the blood, he will have breathing difficulty, low BP and may collapse. Might as well have a coma. Most die at this point unless prompt treatment is done.

Here are the parts that are absurd...

1. Just by holding the throat, you can stop the poisoning. He swallowed it, so it is already in his stomach. By compressing his throat you are only strangulating him. You can't even stop vomitus going into lungs by that.

2. Neck turning blue - pffft... probably because Paro tried to strangle him... 😆

3. Rudra should've been given oxygen by a mask. Also he needs a lot of IV fluids. An he needs IV iron chelating drugs to get rid of excess iron in the blood. So technically, he should've had an IV cannula (more practically, two) in his hand.

4. There is no such 24-hour-deadline for a patient to recover. One who is unconscious may recover after days, and one who is apparently well now may go into coma later.

ok one more..
5. That iron in form of powder wont cause poisoning... you need iron in form of a salt (which is in tablets) to get absorbed into the blood.

Don't even get me started on Kaki sa's plans...

😆... Eve, no idea, how holding the throat helped.. Below is what I found from wiki..
I think creative liberty.. Just go with the flow..😊

The first indication of iron poisoning by ingestion is a pain in the stomach, as the stomach lining becomes ulcerated. This is accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The pain then abates for 24 hours as the iron passes deeper into the body resulting inmetabolic acidosis, which in turn damages internal organs, particularly the brain and the liver. The body goes into shock and death from liver failure.[citation needed]

If intake of iron is during a prolonged period of time, symptoms are likely similar to other causes of iron overload.

Treatment[edit]

Later stage treatment consists of cleaning the iron from the blood, using a chelating agent such as deferoxamine. If this fails then dialysis is the next step.

lol..I get that...but doesn't poison take effect after going inside the vital parts of the body...stomach, liver, in the blood stream...how can it affect the brain without entering the blood stream at all?? How in the world does it affect the nervous system??? That holding the throat, and preventing it from going further...well if she did, then how did he get affected and infected?????
