Part 4

In the evening the house had an unusual silence. Geet pretended to be engrossed in the text book while Shikha sat on the couch and carelessly flipped the pages of a magazine.Her eyes were observing Geet,who tried her best to show that she was studying but she was actually lost in thoughts.

After sometimes Shikha got up and said,"Look Geet I can't take this anymore.I don't know what but something has happened to you from the day we first stepped in the Uni.You...you are changed and that is not done." Geet replied indifferently,"It's nothing like that." Geet got up from the bed and went in the living room.

Shikha followed her.She had decided that today she would dig out the reason for Geet melancholy behavior.She saw Geet sitting on the sofa silently and was taken aback when she saw her eyes were damp.She went to her and sat beside then said with concern,"Geet,please don't cry.See if you tell me what is troubling you then maybe I can help you.I can already presume that its something related to that MSK."

Geet gazed at her for a moment and then slowly said,"Yes.My sadness is related to him." Shikha approached,"Then why don't you tell me what is it?" Geet nodded and said,"Okay I will." Shikha smiles and said,"Thanks for believing and having faith on me." Geet smiled back and replied,"You have helped me a lot.You have been more like a sister than a friend.I should have told you about my past but at that time I had overcome the pain I received with much difficulty.So I avoided but then on that day When I saw MSK. I felt that as if my wounds have become fresh once again.I tried a lot to deviate my thoughts and be strong but I believe I am still in love with him.I still love Maan madly and he knew it the day we had a conversation after several years."Geet stopped,tears trickled down from her cheeks. Shikha was astound after she heard this.She did not comment but waited patiently. Geet begun her story...

I did not continue the story abt Geet's past coz I wanted to build thora aur suspense...eheheheh😆😉 no no actually in the next I will be giving the description of Geet's past that is how she met Maan but the story won't be in first person but in third person as you are seeing in this part.

Hello 😊 am back with the next part 😃 But before that I am giving a chotu sa recap of the prev. part

Part 4[Recap] : Shikha tried her best to know the reason behind Geet's misery.Initially Geet refused but finally she gave in and started narrating the story about her past.

Part 5

6 YEARS EARLIER...

"Geet,get ready because today even you will go with me to the boutique". Mrs.Handa yelled from downstairs.Few minutes later a dainty and fair looking lady came down.She sat beside her mom and said,"Nooo Mom don't wanna go today.Sometime later.My exams got over yesterday.Let me have some fun with my buddies". Mrs.Handa looked at her sternly and said,"No.Moreover your board exams are not over right.Geet now you're almost 17.Now you should help in the business.You are not a kid now".Geet gave in and smiling weakly she nodded her consent.

Geet was what one would say a beautiful girl.She had fair skin and dark brownish hair.Big and brown eyes,pointed nose,thing lips made her face attractive.She lived with her mother in Hoshiyarpur. Geet's father had passed away when she was a toddler.since then her mother was everything to her.They were each other's support.They had a small boutique which by God's grace was doing well.

Geet loved dancing and she also did well in her studies,Mrs.Handa also wanted her daughter to get a good job.She felt proud when everyone praised her daughter not only being good in academics but also helping her mom in household chores and helping others. Geet also had the hobby of writing essays and poems.But this was her hidden dream because how hard she studied she did not get the desired marks in English.

She loved that subject but did not get a good tutor to teach her.She wanted someone who equally and passionately loved that subject,with whom she could discuss her texts as well as about other classics and novels.Someone who would appreciate her essays and poems and understand their meaning rather than just considering that as a piece of writing by a teenager.She hardly knew that destiny was soon going to introduce her to the one she was looking for.The person who will change her to a completely new person.
