Firstly - for such discussion threads on the forum permission needs to be sort from the DT - which wasnt granted. I do remember a member asking for permission for a thread at the beginning regarding discussion - however this was not granted - i requested further clarification and gave options and queried the title the thread would have, however no approval was given
Secondly - the 1st post clearly stated 'members only' - this is absolutely not allowed on the forum. the only forum which allows such thread is the CC section
Thirdly - the thread stated that it was a thread for discussion on HarShika/Zaya, now there is already an AT for this discussion, so why is there the need for yet another thread.
Furthermore, members were warned in that thread regarding their behaviour, yes its not your job to moral police - but as members of that thread - you clearly had rules for that thread which were not being maintained therefore some form of responsibility should have been taken - which wasnt. Bashing of actors is not tolerated on the forum, just because members edit out their comments, does not mean that the DT has not seen the comments that have been made/are not aware of the comments that are being made, editing out the comments does not change the fact that bashing of actors was occuring on that thread, and as mentioned in the warning contionous disregard would lead to closure, and thus was the decision that was taken. You may not be able to control how others post, but you can control how to respond and continue with such discussion.
Lastly - as mentioned in the rules and the post that was closed - you can approach the DT through PM should you wish to discuss this matter, discussion moderating issues on the forum is not allowed
