...when Anjali blessed Astha? I thought he gave a look of happiness that Anjai accepted Astha.

Do any of you agree or am I mistaken?

i agree deep down he obviously loves his mum and her blessing for aastha meant alot to him. I think with shlok on aastha's side she can change the agnihotri's rules easily 😃

He may not want to admit it, but he's true blue mama's boy. He wanted her approval, and when angali blessed her he was genuinely happy.

Yes, that's a possibility too. But either way, it atleast mattered to him. Shows that he is still emotionally attached to his mom though he refuses to admit it due to Swati incident.

Yes, he smiled I think because of Aastha as Anjali accepted her
