u know.. i have learned hindi watching hindi shows growing up watching zee tv from 92 **i guess i saw the baby born, i remember it was so new they used to get mails *************Real mails 😆 from people and read them on a special show named - daag ghar ...

what to say i must say tv shows when zee started were simple and to the point ...

hardly u could hear a song from a movie n couple dancing ... just one show came in named - andaz came in with music of himesh ******************ok that time reading his name i thought he is some old man😆 and realized he was young boy 15 yrs old when made music for that show..

Any ways coming 2 the point ...

that time when they made leaps in shows - it was great to see what happens after 20 yrs to the people... to see how they change and what happened .. for example - zee very old show named - daraar started the hero young and then after 20 yrs with his son n his wife ... them changing and throwing the father out of the house ext ext ext... !!! stories would start n end with an idea and u could see ok seems its done and u would feel yes .. its time to end it 😆

but now.. when they have leaps .. its so funny its endless 😆 mean not possible things happen - old people still the same .. young people get few white hairs even after 3 4 leaps of 20 20 yrs each 😆

what can i say

when tv shows used to come once a week

we had great shows - Not for TRPS but for the story / cast .. and we got great shows - Like tara, banegi apni baat, parampara and so on 😆 but now... its all about race ... every one wanna beat the other and be better ... Put the best music / put the famous actors / forget the story 😉 / doesnt matter if ur hero / heroin doesnt know acting ... as much people are mad at their appearance all is well...

Yes i miss those old shows...

simple and too the point

no leaps - if they don't have any idea what to do next 😉

so will we ever get great shows 2 remember... Hmm I wonder...

yes from the new we do remember some shows like - Koshish / agle janam / astitva n so on

but still...

For me, I never watched Zee Shows before Astitva. I saw Naagin, Hum Paanch a few years after. My first ever Zee TV show which I watched from the beginning to end at the broadcast time is Kasamh Se, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Saath Phere😛 When these ended, there came Pavitra Rishta, Choti Bahu, Aapki Antara and Agle janam.

So u can say my 1st show was Kasamh se- fully... I caught Astitva middle waya nd watched the rest online. 😃

Kasamh Se is still my favourite No replacement

My 1st ever Indian tv serial was on Star Plus... I watched Kasauti Zindagi Ki 1400 episodes😆 and I can watch again too... Then started with kahani Ghar Ghar kii...(Got Boring with reincarnation crap and leap)🤢 so I left that.

At the age of 14 I started watching serials😳 Kasauti being my 1st 😲 ***WOW***🥱

Coming to old v/s new- Hands down the old serials win for good content and acting 😎 The old days gave us the Varuns, Ronits, Cezzanes, Umars, Rams❤️, Sakshis, Smritis, Shwetas etc etc. Those were the golden years of tv with the Golden performances by the best era of actors and actresses👏

These days-actors are only lauded for their 6 packs, dimples and body... Acting takes a back seat 😕

As for content- most of the serials are becoming predictable (Been there, done that moments are so popular)😆 One track is being repeated or being borrowed by another show🤣

ok at least some one noticed my topic 😆

well how could i forgot watching star plus channel long back on my tv ... mean years back we got that channel here and that time it used to put only english shows ... slowly slowly hindi shows got their timings mean i remember it was 5-6 pm 2 shows .. one i remember was tu tu main main with supriya and rima laguu .. it was my favorite sas bahu comic show .. i loved them 😉 but then ... israeli cabal tv removed star plus because it became an hindi channel with the reason that they can not put it in israel...

same happened with channel v which were totally english and slowly became hindi and got removed ... 😭 they left us with zee tv and wanted to remove that too but with indians pressure they let it be else we would have cut their service

any ways i must say i learnt hindi watching those shows - well agree i loved kasamh se untill the 2nd leap and then dtopped .. i got tired of the story and left it !!

astitva - i watched from beginning but hated abhi so stopped watching 😳 then later on 10 yrs later wanted to see what happens with him and gave it 2nd chance ...

now a days - ek hasina thi and ek boond ishq are different and great

yeh hay muhabbatien - its slowly progressing so i keep it no 3 😲😆

I agree simi,, now days actor dont act nicely so i dont watch serial, for me the actor who act by there heart, on television r, ram, varun, niki aneja, narayani shastri, ronit roy, which make you cry n smile too
now days i also kapil sharma, standup comedian :)

well now a days its all about 6packs and looks .. if u r good actor but u have no 6packs u might feel hard to get a job as lead ...!!!
