All serials were about educated, working, modern, independent, urban men and women. How Shanti became hit in noon slot? Obviously housewives patronised it! Trp aunties like saas bahu serials, in the UK its a different audience altogether as its the wide range of audience.
There are many shows that have low trps in India but it has highest viewership in the UK. But as we all know the weekly trps are only based on the Indian viewrship regardless of it being number 1or 2 outside of India.

Seems like d trend is as d yrs/centuries passing d indian society regressing n shrinking in so called hight tech nano world LOL.
