Letter to the (happily...and thankfully...{one hopes}looking at the current willy nilly massacre of his wonderful character) deceased, crumble boned...but hearty in spirit Emperor of Emperors... Abul Fa'ath Jalaluddin Mohammed Akbar...and the following yada yada titles that accompanied your name...

Dear dead Majesty..(sorry.😕..but have no clue how to address the royal deceased..)
One hopes, sincerely that you have stopped smacking your spirit...ly.(?) mien at the pav bhaji ( I know u can't eat it...it's mostly delicious...a total cholesterol vehicle..u wud love it...try to smell it) ...type mish mash of your regal character ..in this sadly derailed serail..

the dude..(le character ...pas vous)...has kicked out the one person...who..in his adult life...has voluntarily...selflessly ..put her life on line for his sorry A#*e...all because of DCD..( Dysfunctional Communication Disorder...pending approval DSM-V)..

Now see, This DCD ..is highly selective...it does not stop him from having an imperial rave and rant ,toss and throw, scream and shove...at Damsel...in all manners of times and places of his choosing...but QUELLE TRAGEDIE...when he has to actually..truly..use his superlative...and undoubtedly powerful...powers of communication...to solve crises...they become a victim of the dreaded DCD...which then involves him making cow eyes, moo moo sounds and generally doing his best bovine impression of Snort n Fart Bull ...instead of active problem solving...which is what an active, intelligent... THINKING...(such as you..dear sprightly spirit Imperio..😳) would do ..

"Of all the weapons of destruction that man could invent, the most terrible-and the most powerful-was the word. Daggers and spears left traces of blood; arrows could be seen at a distance. Poisons were detected in the end and avoided. But the word managed to destroy without leaving clues."
Paulo Coelho

this to me ,sums up the destructive power of what HE said to HER that fateful night... Begone...from my sight, my palace, my life...and in one fell sweep... sundered...if u will...bonds and relationships built over time.😭..SHE only knows that HIS word is final...his mother, his wisest queen...no one can defy him...except her...she does not know that SoftieMommyInLaw wud happily cudgel her peabrained offspring for this misdemeanour...kudos to u Gal...
And so she leaves...bereft of the one thing she thought she had...and what was laying the foundation of love in her heart for him...TRUST...🥺

Why should she forgive him? Coz she is a woman?..Err.. .sorry ... but can we please get out of this Sati-Savitri flu...flume that has been pushed into us along with Cerelac...and just think for a sec...that No one...no freakin one...died and elected her..or any of us for that matter...Pope... Her husband ain't by a looonnng shot..a Shiva or a Satyavan...so let's get that Mental junk outta the way...😡
Btw,...if I were..(highly doubt) elected there..I'd canonize La Serenissima lickety split...just saying..and I'd get rid of that celibacy nonsense too..so there!🤬

She has every right to hold a grudge...so what does that make her?...HUMAN...and flawed...just like every one of us...why is she...and for that matter...any woman...held up to this fake standard of righteousness...while men go scot free..judging and condemning on a whim?

There are many who have said it is her fault for not coming clean...sure it is...but what about DingBat Imperio? That Schtinkingfink had more resources at his disposal then than Obama has today..(thanks to TanMom Boehner..but that's another tale)... So what was HE doing? Resting on his regal behind...which was ALSO his thinking organ at the time?.?? hence the lack of blood supply and subsequent ischemia...Cleo...do cast light on this..
Where were his resources? Why were they not put to use in ferreting out information..? Was there ever a question asked...?was there an investigation? Did you cross check info? Errr...nooo...
And why should she trust him on this? Because, she knew he would ignore her and run rattle tattle to the one person who is his wiliest opponent...BigMomma...and that would kerplunk any detective work undertaken forthwith...

Her bond with that one sibling is the strongest she has forged in her family...
That she stayed true to it...is a testament if her fortitude.. obstinacy and yes...shortsightedness...absolutely...but in the face of circumstances stated above...she erred on the side of caution...and landed smack splat on her face...

He searched for her...YEAH!! I should hope so...not just because he cares...but because His Royal Doofiness knows that he has goofballed...seriously...and erred in a manner so egregious ..that if she had lost her life..or come to any harm ..his tenuous alliance with his staunchest allies would have gone kaput in a heartbeat...

Yes, he cares..that is patently obvious...what is also obvious is that she does too...and here is where her words belie her true feelings...
Mansi has summed up Damsel's psyche in a wonderful post...and it's bang on target...
I admire this feisty babe...who in that day and age..(assuming this shtuff is even a percent true).. was fighting for equality in marriage...
Sad...that there are so many women...in this day and age...who can't seem to see this light...and choose to live in the suffer and martyr sadomasochistic reality that only serves to pull women all over down...
We had this conversation once..about how would one redo Romeo and Juliet...and my bit was to say..
Babe...dump that guy...there are many ..many more fish in them pond! Happy Fishing! ( Darcy Goggle-Eyed here)

Due apologies...Dear Departed Jalal...come back...for an instant...and smack the Scribs upside down and sideways...just so that their cranial circuits get afiring...
This stumpf is so unfair to you...and her...

Hope the heavens have decent WI-Fi...

Absolutely fantastic post Liz...👏

Agree with each and every word you said...She is searchng for equality in her marriage and why not!!! She is one gutsy lady and that is why he loves her...
He was extremely hurtful that night not just with words but also physically...😭...instigated by his big momma...BTW his big momma's truth is going to come out...😆...Now where will he go to cry? Probably put his head on the shoulders of his wisest friend who was equally involved in this treachery...
And why should Jo not care for her Suja bhaisa ? Doesnot he care for MA and Ruku ?

Superb Lizzy, simply superb.👏

Where were you all these days??? We needed this post...😃

You are right..boo-boo was thinking from his behind.. and what a behind it was!!

Forget about the investigation (boo-boo may not know the meaning, remember his behind does not have enough brain power to compile and decode this), all he had to do was to sit and talk to her, any time between first encounter of moo-moo with her bro and before re-arranging the functionality of his body parts, instead of imitating Voldy. He has gone moldy isn't it?

He could have asked her as a king and as a husband (who has every right to question her) that he has seen her nightly activities and he could have politely asked her to explain this, instead of getting violent and physical.

And I do not understand this need of a saint heroine and a dumb hero. I would rather have both of them human and doing mistakes, just like what we have today in boo-boo and moo-moo.

I also do not understand this glorification and romanticizing of abuse and the all sacrificing heroin. Also by attaching an overwhelming greatness to women in general (see any woman's day messages), we are not allowing her to feel human weakness and pain. And expecting men to be a stone, we are not allowing them to feel any emotion, lest their manhood gets questioned. Both are wrong I say and the scribes need to be little more understanding of this fact.

Okay okay... me have debated this long and strong last few days.

Waiting for the day when boo-boo and moo-moo are calf eyes at each other without the BigMomma in picture and BigMomma gets a royal treatment in her backside...

Love

Fabulous Liz! 👏
Jalal is going to get a huge Jhatka and dhakka when his dear Badi Ammi's truth comes out, and then Jodha will be the only one to support him through this.

Liz, as always love your hilarious takes and you have identified Jalal's faults without one omission. You know- given Jalal's security and spy system, I actually thought he would never find Jodha.

I also agree Jalal has made a mistake, I also feel Jodha has every right to be hurt and upset and should not go at his beck and call, but that does not mean I agree with everything Jodha is doing. That may put me in a camp of women that is taking us centuries back and are against equality in marriage. But ironically, it is the lack of equality that has bothered me the most of this entire track

Equality in the Jodha-Jalal relationship

- Equality for me would be Jodha raising her voice to stand up for herself when Jalal asked her twice to tell the truth instead of saying she couldn't because he was angry
- Equality would have been barging into Jalal's room the way Jalal barges into her and how she has barged in the past- and told him he was wrong to his face and then leave, instead of leaving a letter
- Equality and self-respect would have been to hold her head and high and leave because she wants to and not as she states in the letter because she always listens to her husbandl
- Equality would have been daring to trust and understand Jalal as she expects him to understand her
- Equality would have been in being courageous enough to admit your mistakes openly instead of whispering it to your aatma

That would be a fiesty begum- but now she is showing her fiestyness only when her opposition has crumbled before her!

Equality (or lack thereof) of the CVs treatment of this track

- They spend 90 percent of time showing Jalal's emotions and hurt and have spent very little screen time showing Jodha's hurt and emotions
- The Jodha who was expressive in her anger and in her jealousy is suddenly silent
- They juxtapose Jalal's contradicting emotions with self- talks to understand his internal turmoil though we may not agree with it
- For Jodha they show disjointed events, one day she is sad, the next day smiling, one day she is worried about his life, and the next day she shows no concern- and we are left to interpret why
- Yes, the forum is lucky- we are fortunate to have people analyze and interpret Jodha for us- is the majority of the audience as lucky?

I feel the CVs have not given Jodha equal chance yet for us to hear her emotions in this track- we can only assume them but I think the CVs are about to change that.

This track is almost over- Jalal has already recognized and admitted his fault and Jodha is about to as well recognize her true feelings. They are about to move on- I hope the forum will not forever split into two camps and we will move on as well.

As always a pleasure to read ur posts.

Just saw the post, Past midnight and feeling too sleepy. So a quick one.
My take has consistently been both are right from their own perspectives. Both were victims of the circumstance and evil plots.
If her stance today is that she needs time, its quite understandable as she felt let down by him.
If she feels she needs a bit more self respect or an identity, I see no wrong in it.
Change ur sig and I shall come back..😉
