Let Paro Confront Laila in Ashish's Absence - Not a Boring Track Plz!

As much as I'll be happy for Ashish given his commendable dancing skills, the fact that he'll not be as present in RangRasiya leaves me with a sour distaste. But then I find solace by telling myself that he'll be working for two different shows on the same channel, which means it shouldn't be as bad. I have not followed Madhubala but from what I know, Drashti's absence wasn't felt as much whilst she participated in JDJ. So let's hope for the best.

Under any circumstances, we know that it's practically and humanly impossible for Ashish to give the same amount of time to RR once he starts working for JDJ. So to say the least, we cannot expect large doses of PaRud on the show ;ike recent episodes even if we get to see glimpses of PaRud here and there.

So the question is what would be the best solution?

Some prudent and analytical viewers (Sunara, for example) among us have pointed out that Paro's pain and anguish were not given their right due on the show. I've to acknowledge that I agree with this point of criticism.

Now it appears to me that having Rudra getting poisoned instead of Paro is a strategy to give Ashish some time out of RR. In the meantime, Paro will turn detective and try to find the culprit. This track is kind of similar to Sanaya's StarPlus show where the male lead is kidnapped and Khushi turns detective. As much as I liked the fact that Khushi was showing some level of maturity during that track, I was bored to death to be honest. It was just so obvious that this out-of-place track was highly unnecessary and just a coverup for he male lead's absence. I don't want to undergo the same experience, please.

So here's a humble suggestion. Let Paro find out about Rudra and Laila before Ashish gets busy with JDJ. And then focus on how Paro will deal with the situation. It should be a big blow to Paro who firmly believes that Paro and Rudra were made for eachother sitaron ki jahan mein :). So we should get to see her disappointment, confusion, questioning, reluctance, reflection, confrontation, conviction, and finally decision. I think that would be something worth watching rather than some forced track.

In short, bring Paro's inner thoughts to limelight during Ashish's semi-absence from the show. It would be a good opportunity cuz once Ashish's back, we would naturally want all the limelight on PaRud.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

P.S: The comments below have really taken me by surprise. I don't see my fault in making this post. So now we have to think 10 times before sharing a thought on this forum?! How on earth is responding to speculations even remotely equal to making conclusions about an actor's decision or professionalism as some of you seem to imply? And what's wrong if Ashish chooses to participate in JDJ? Dhrashti did it last season and she won the title too. Ashish's participation at least would make the show somewhat "watchable" for me. And also what's wrong in me making a small suggestion on the basis of what IF Ashish participates in JDJ and thus ultimately divide his attention between two shows... I'd have thought of something for Rudra had Sanaya considered JDJ. I mean seriously guys.. I have always sung praises of this forum.. Don't throw such disappointments at me. Let's keep it mature, shall we?! When it comes to things like this, I think the best part of me is the fact that I pay no heed to opposing views as long as I'm not convinced. So please don't expect me to post an apology.

I was expecting responses such as "no, not Laila" or "yeah that would be interesting" or " how about an alternative option..." but here I stand shocked for being criticized over things I never imagined. Holy... Moly...

Oyster,

Let's not jump to conclusions. It was different the last time. This time Ashish will be on the same channel. So the PH and the channel will be able to coordinate things. Besides, every year at least one actor from a colors show takes part in JDJ, last year it DD and the ML of Balika Vadhu. I don't think their absence was felt in the show.

I hope my post doesn't offend you but I truly wish that you gave the PH and Ashish some trust.

He is dedicated to his work yet he would be stupid to refuse an offer of the dance show if he really wanted to do it.

He is a grown man and thus knows whether he will be able to handle it and also the channel is very accommodating of schedules and rehearsals.

In terms of track, this show is very different to other shows and does things differently.

I don't think it's fair to jump to conclusions or worry about things when we are just the audience wanting to chill out amd enjoy the show after a long day etc.

I hope this didn't offend you.

Incandescent, I've already pointed the fact that Ashish doing two shows on the same channel should make it a lot more "doable." I also mentioned that Dhrashti did not go missing from MB when she participated in JDJ. So yeah we are on the same page here.

Sukhminder... I'd rather say that this forum shifts to "criticizing" mode without any reason. As for logic, oh yeah I did use some of my brain cells in coming up with a suggestion. So logic toh hai boss :).

Sonya I am the sort of TV viewer who cherishes a real good story line over the characters and actor but if all 3 converge to my liking then I feel it is a bonus so when I initially started watching RR I felt the story was the heart and soul of the show The stellar ensemble cast along with the talented leads kind of led me to believe that finally I can watch a desi soap for sheer viewing pleasure and not just one or 2 characters with the others being relegated to the backdrop like another show It had such immense potential and still will if they stop opening up layers of just one character To be honest I am a bit tired of the imbalance in the show There are a myriad possibilities with other actors contribution to make the story interesting for the regular viewers There is a hard core loyal fanbase for this show who will continue to watch as long as tracks remain interesting

Most telling the week when Ashish fell ill and SI was also not there for a couple of episodes and then returned the next week It was quite interesting lighthearted even at times with the buffoonery of Sumer and the TRP's were steady which speaks volumes over the loyalty to the show and the story rather than only to the characters I am sure by introducing Thakur Mala scenes Mohini Mala the early days Dilsher Mala FB Paro Aman Sunehri scenes Sunehri Aman track ( although I will be wincing I don't know why ) Mohini Paro Maithali scenes where both the girls gang up against Mohini and play some nasty trick on her without getting caught would be a great potential as would say the uncle trying to share with Paro a bit about Rudras Mother maybe even let her talk without them meeting as of course that would ruin the unmasking of Mala Laila would be such a revelation and would make the menage trois infinitely interesting but will the writers be up the task?

I was a bit shocked to read comments elsewhere about how this show will lose intensity and interest all because Rudra will go missing Well if the PH use their noggins like they did the first couple of weeks when all the characters were being revealed then momentum can be maintained Probably because I am not a fan girl of characters or actors I find such statements off putting and disrespectful as well to the actors concerned and here I mean the entire cast for each one of them have such talent on their own and can carry scenes on their own without having to depend on the leads

Now as far as Ashish on JDJ goes I wonder how much of this is pure speculation as I found the article really oddly worded written rather amateurishly and this is a young soap with no parallel side tracks to rely on so wondering and if he does also I have no issues his choice his decision as long as the RR tale is told as it should be as it was assured The show must go on

The writers spent the best part of their time energy and skills on etching the character of Rudra now may be if they lavish the same attention to detail to all the others then RR has such immense potential to be the gripping intense story it promised once and which SI and AS kept emphasizing -that the story is the king here I don't want to see a possible abdication

P.S. best possible example 11 pm show where every character makes it for interesting viewing even the most cliched 😛
