Sadda Haq FORUM RULES - ALL COMPILED

Due to the increasing negativity on the forum, the Dev Team would like to remind members of the rules as well as the implement of new ones which are to be followed hence forth. We request and expect members to follow these rules at all times:

No Bashing: While constructive criticism is welcome, know where to draw the line. Do not use foul language, bash the cast, crew and/or members.

Personal Attacks: Every member of this forum is entitled to their opinion, not everyone will have the same likes or dislikes but that does not mean a member should be attacked for their opinion. Members should be able to co exist and not feel like they can't write their views about the current tracks or like for a certain character or couple without being attacked or mocked.

Character Bashing: We all have our favorites, yes even characters that may otherwise be unpopular due to their character portrayal or as a potential threat to a particular pairing. However, this does not give anyone the right to bash characters to the extreme

There is a fine line between criticism and bashing and members need to be careful not to mix reel with real by bashing the cast by citing references to their onscreen character.

Indirect/Direct Mocking of Opinions: DTs have noticed a rise in the mocking due to a difference in opinions and from now on that will not be tolerated. Members should be able to agree or disagree without instigating another member

Counter Posts: Counter posts are topics which are made in retaliation to another topic that the TM does not agree with. Please refrain from doing so, all this leads to is further negativity on the forum and does nothing to solve the issues at hand.

No Moral Policing: We ask that members not preach on the forum telling members what to do or not do. The DTs are here for a purpose and decide what is needed or not needed on the forum. You cannot stop anyone from posting in a topic, so posts like bashers stay out are not allowed. If you see anyone you believe is breaking the rules then hit the REPORT button or PM a member of the DTs for immediate action but please do not become the moral police of the forum.

Multiple IDs: The I-F Code of Conduct strictly prohibits members from having multiple IDs. Do not make multiple IDs to create chaos by bashing members/celebrities/DTs.

If members are caught with more than one ID, those IDs will be deactivated and your most active ID will remain along with a raise in your warning level by 20%

Regarding ATs and Chat Threads: Do not use ATs and chat threads under false pretenses to bash/mock/insult members or the cast. That is not the purpose of those threads and if rules are broken the threads will face a closure for 24 hours.

Quoting: Please do not quote more than 3 quotes per post since it takes forever for a page to load otherwise. Best thing to do is use the "@" symbol or delete previous quotes to limit your post to 3 quotes.
