I completely agree. I had read the spoiler earlier of how Raman was just playing a game to get Adi to own up to his mistake and apologize to Ishita. Thus I was expecting to get a really good scene today and was left disappointed.
Raman said some really rude things to Vandu, and even if it was just a plan, he should've apologized to her. And the entire scene was kind of a let down. The only good part was when he heckled Adi to tell the truth and then threatened to take Adi out of the school. I was disappointed with the showdown between Vandu and Ishu with Raman and Shagun.
The only way the common viewer would understand would be through Ishita and even then it was kind of unclear how Ishita figured it out.
Speaking of which, I read an earlier post of how "Raman should be a spy" because no one can figure him out. And it has got me thinking. Yes Raman is very good at hiding what he is thinking. But surprisingly, Ishita understood him. Before Shagun and Vandu. So I suppose it was to show how well Ishita and Raman's understanding has become. Which I think the writers have shown pretty well so far.
As for the bhenji thing, I think its high time that Ishita has had a makeover, in terms of changing her hair style from the poof (super outdated) and changing her sarees (so old fashioned and not flattering at all). Divyanka is a really pretty woman who can pull off sarees amazingly. It's annoying to have to see her in such clothes. If not for Raman, then at least for the viewers I hope we get to see a change.
And on that note, I wouldn't take it too seriously that Raman called Ishita pretty. He did that for Ruhi and was making weird faces while doing so. I don't think Raman or Ishita are sexually or even objectively attracted to each other at all. She obviously thinks of him as short (especially when compared to Subbu) and he just doesn't even think about that I think. But I don't mind it because that way they've been able to focus on their personalities more and both of them appreciate each others characteristics which is better than just falling for looks (like Raman did with Shagun).
Which is another thing, Raman and Ishita's relationship is basically the total opposite of Shagun and Raman's. Raman fell in love with Shagun's beauty first and that blinded him to her shortcomings, whereas I think he's going to fall for Ishita's personality before her looks, leading to a more stable foundation.
And Parmeet. I'm so grossed out by him. Glad Ishita is taking a stand. Like you said, I think the Ishita outing Parmeet thing is going to happen when Raman is in Mumbai and when he'll come back Ishita will probably out of the house or frozen out of the family. Hopefully he'll investigate.
