Verbal Fights:
The show has finally fully opened it's doors to the "real" war. The scene between Robbie and Kasturi today where Robbie is ruthlessly boxing his punching bag, was almost as if Robbie considered the "punching bag" to be Kasturi herself and he was taking out all his aggravation, annoyance and frustration on the bag as Kasturi. Then the interaction between them spilled with intensity, clashing perspectives and a step forward into the war field. The balace between these two opinions that weigh out on opposite ends of the scale was well played out. The way Kasturi talked about how she definitely was low in status and lifestyle yet rich with love from her family and Robbie arguing how her house is so small that it's windows fail to see the sky, hence they (kasturi and her family) are so close to the ground was amazing. Kudos to the dialogue writer for writing dialogues that avoid repetition, length and still prove to be impactful. Opposites attract perhaps because they fill in the voids that their partner lacks? Kasturi is rich in love, family and values yet not where wealth is concerned, and Robbie is rich in all materialistic standards yet lacks the understanding of love. Together they can and will complete each other, those were just extreme examples, wealth is not the only aspect but there are many other things that they can fullfill for each other.Anyone know why, most of Kasturi-Robbie's intense scenes are shown in the dark?Is this symbolizing something? Right now their relationship of a boss-secretary is dark and filled with bitterness hence the darkness and perhaps when their relationship is converted from being bitter to compassionate/caring their intense scenes will be variated and shot in day light. I've got to admit, this was the best scene Karan and Shubhangi have performed in Kasturi till date amongst their interactions. That being said, it seems they are working really hard and are improving day by day and I personally think are, they are getting better episode after episode. I also thought Robbie looked quite cute when he had his hood on (Although it reminded me of UD).
The face behind the mask:
Is it only me or did someone else also think, Devika is wearing a facade and her real face is yet to be unveiled? One thing has been made steel clear, that she loves and adores her son extremely, yet fame and wealth gleam in her eyes as well. So, far she was shown to be a woman who was strong, dominant and just, yet I feel this is the case only when benefit banks into her account. Offering charity, is a very good and pronounces a good heart but perhaps there was another intention behind this cause? Fame, publicity and good-will on their family name? Re-hiring Kasturi to provide discipline in her son's life and to remove his bad habits. The intention behind this, to show her son the right path at the same his marital route will be safe and secure. Since, if Robbie continues having multiple affairs with multiple women, no woman and certainly not an already wealthy industrialist's daughter marry him. Judging from her sour mood when her husband's friend was announcing the launch of a new music company and her bitter reply to her daughter clear displays this. The way she said, "my son does all the hardwork and they get 40% shares" and then she said another time "just let Kasturi get Robbie on the right track, will get him married to that industrialist's daughter" I conclude Devika favours decisions that benefit her, invite more fame and wealth to her door step and provide joy for her son. What do you guys think about Devika? Is Devika who we think she was all along or has today's episode peeled off half of her mask? The Arrival of a potential storm:
Well, what I mean by storm is the pretty lass who entered the show today. How she is a storm? Well, Devika seems pretty determined to get Ishita and Robbie to get married to one another and her reasoning for it, we all know. That being said, Devika will try her best to close all the doors that lead Robbie and Kasturi's hearts together. Devika cribs so much at that man getting 40% shares, what will be her reaction if her son falls in love with Kasturi,a middle class girl? It depends, does she love her son and wealth equally or her son much more? It's not wrong to want money (hmm despite posessing so much moolah already) so that may not make her a bad person entirely. At first I got the feeling that her husband was the one who was bad, yet seeing Devika's highly ambitious nature, I am thoroughly confused. However, was it me or did Robbie seem displeased to meet Ishita? He made a slight face and then out of the corner of his eye he saw Kasturi, mischief filled his eyes and then he smiled cockily. One gets the feeling he only danced with Ishita because he want to edge/piss of Kasturi. The guy who has affairs with pretty girls and that too in his terms "of status" and "rich" isn't pleased to meet a new girl? Has Robbie already fallen for Kasturi or...?
