shahid and randhir kapoor-wats going on

randhir kapoor said that shahid and kareena are freinds at the moment..i thought everyone knew that they were more than friends so was just wondering why he said that...did he mean to lie or what?

Well he said "so far" they are friends, which is true in a sense because Shahid and Kareena are not married yet and there is no guarantee that they will. Randhir chose his words carefully. He was also being careful because of what happened with Karisma...everyone thought she was gonna get married to Abhishek but they broke off at the last minute, which I am sure must have been embarrasing for their families. Randhir was just playing it safe.

He is her father after all..He probably doesn't feel comfortable going around talking about her daughter's bf...some ppl arent' comfy with that so he probably likes to think of him just as her friend 😆 Playing it safe in his own head 😆

Yeahh! I agree too. Many Indian fathers feel shy or uncomfortable talking abt their daughter's bf. But i think yeah, after incident where karisma brokeup with abhishek, i too, think tht Randhir kapoor was playing safe. He called Shahid DODO 😆 matching it with Bebo and Lolo... that was the funniest!

its a lil silly playing safe when the daughter has publicly accepted it, they even came together on the same show and there were pictures taken of them kssing so i think that was foolish

well if you look at it they are not married or enggaged. maybe they are more than just friends ,but it is still called friends. there is no official name for this relationship, so all and all they are friends.whose father is going to say his daughter's boyfriend on national tv. i think he was correct the way he answered the question.
