The Turkish film distributor Pinema changed his wallpaper to Chennai Express :) Film will be in Turkish cinemas this Friday. It's the first Bollywood film to be shown in cinemas in Turkey. Very very late but better late than never. How Chennai Express does at the box office will really determine the fate of Bollywood films in the Turkish market. I saw the film already but will go just to support!

For now the film will be shown in select theaters in major cities. The distributors are planning to expand to other cities if the film does well in the first week.

Turkish fans are really hyped.

The same film distributor has also purchased Dhoom 3 and that will be in theaters in July. I knew that so still haven't watched Dhoom 3 so that I can enjoy it.

Hopefully if demand is high, one day Bollywood films will be released in Turkey on the same dates as they are released in India, US and Middle East.

Haha.

I honestly did not like the film either but it's not really about Chennai Express, it's about the future of Bollywood films in Turkey in general. So people need to go see it. Otherwise, we'll never get the opportunity to see Bollywood films in Turkish theatres again.

So I will go just to support.

Why such a bad SRK film to release in another country? He got lots of haters already. 😆
Why can't they release Don 2 or MNIK there? 😭

to be very honest I have no idea why people in the US, Middle East and Turkey would want to watch bollywood movies. I knew in the middle east people love those bollywood crap especially since they introduced zee aflam and now mbc bollywood BUT...honestly...

Turkish cinema ❤️ You ALL have to watch Evim Sensin, Issiz Adam, Bliss, and my alltime favorite Hayat Var!

And there is sooo much more! Turkish cinema 👍🏼 > Bollywood 👎🏼

Middle Eastern movies ❤️ You all have to watch CAIRO 678, Dokkan Shehata, Amreeka, Asma etc ❤️

Bollywood directors aren't creative enough. They rather copy from south indian movies or other countries. Also the older heroes do the same lame stuff...and now varun dhawan has decided to keep those stupid commercial flicks alive...his main tera hero did well...so now other young actors will try it too. 👎🏼

I'd say tamil cinema is the best of the world. The directors make awesome rare movies: aadukalam, paaruthiveeran, mynaa, angadi theru etc 👍🏼
