Now comes Ahil... If he is Billi's son then that explains the lack of morals when it comes to the opposite sex. He has had 26 girl friends and expects to make a pick up on the way to Punjab as well! Let's hope Begam Sahiba for Ahil is not like Rani Sahiba of IPKKND was to Shyam. A sugar mummy that finances his lifestyle and dalliances! All we need is a married hero and an engaged heroine to complete the cycle of dysfunction!
After all, Gaffur had 2 wives, Rashid had 2 wives, Ayaan married his babhi, Asad almost married Billi, and Imran married Najma but had a child with Billi and was engaged to Nikhat. Not to mention Farhan who also had 2 wives!
QH never leaves any stone unturned to complete what they began, whether it is illogical tracks, character assasinations, redemption or dysfunctions.😆
Let's see how this season goes. Let's hope they don't give negativity and evil as much a centre stage as they did on season 1. But I have to say, they have gone out of their way to make Ahil edgy. A womaniser who drinks and sleeps on the back seat of his convertible, while doing million dollar deals in his underwear?
They have succeeded in making an unconventional type Muslim hero. Also, he is just like an M & B guy. Somewhat like ASR, but less dark and brooding. Also, ASR was very ambitious and he was not a womaniser. He used to give attitude to his GF. He was too arrogant and self satisfied to give too much importance to any women other than his sister!
He is more like the Shades of Grey hero I think.
Also a piece of trivia. The house that Dilshad and Sanam are living in is Khushi's house from IPKKND. I know that balcony anywhere. Many an Arnav-Khushi showdown happened on that balcony!
I never watched IPKKND, so thanks for the info. Reuse and recycle is the mantra of QH. First it was tracks, then houses.
All in all, a good start, and I have to say my interest has been ignited to know more about these new characters. I also think Rehaan is super cute!

Yes, Rehaan is super cute. And the start has been good. A lot of info was given for a starting episode. No loopholes and the storytelling was crystal clear.

Meet Sanam, Asya's daughter, whose dream is to open a chain of dhabas across Punjab.

She can cook like her maasi, talk and recite shayaris like her mom, is a cleanliness freak like her dad, doesn't think before leaping, again like her mom and loves Pudina Chutney instead of Pizza.

Sanam is engaged to Anwar.

Meet Aahil, the playboy, who conducts crores of business deal in 5 minutes in boxers, has a brother/assistant, Rehaan (who is eye candy btw).

SJ's voice is still not back. Aahil looks cool. The ball is set rolling.

And, Aahil is related to Begum Sahibaa. No points for guessing who is this Begum Sahibaa.

For a change, CVs were crystal clear in their story telling. No racking your brains to connect the dots. They connected the dots and presented the picture. Have no doubts, Sahil it is to be.

The characters have been introduced. The setting is a rural Indian village. Now, let the drama begin.
