Hello Peeps !! I have been reading quite a few posts about how PaRud danced like professional dancers, which doesn't suit their characters !! I disagree, because if you would have really noticed, the dance form Rudra chose to dance with Paro is Salsa, and since I have learned Salsa Jive, I know for a fact that its a dance form which only works if only the Man makes all the moves and leads the dance !! The woman's job is only to follow the Man's lead and trust him, that is why Rudra tells Paro to surrender herself to him, because her job was not to dance, but to trust Rudra and follow him blindly ! As for her her correct posture, even when I started learning Salsa Jive, without knowing the moves I would have the correct posture, because I knew how to dance, just didn't know how to do Salsa Jive. So someone with the knowledge of dance, of rhythm would let the music flow and dance according, especially if you have a great partner leading you.

As for Rudra, his character is that of an officer and it comes as no surprise to me that he would dance so well and has the knowledge of various dance forms.

Btw this post was not to point at any member, but to share my own knowledge for all those who might have questions about PaRud's dance.

Oh! I don't understand people who say that it is out of charcter and all that stuff. It was such a beautiful dance that brought out the passion of Parud.Especially when she was standing on his toes
I so want to see dancing them again.

👏

The Creators, the story tellers of Rangrasiya are the ones writing and delivering Rudra & Paro's Story and I'm totally enraptured at how they have, are and without a doubt will carry on to unfold before our eyes...

...and I'm here to enjoy this enthralling ride however and whichever way its presented!

Yeah it was the Tango...when the male partner leads the female to dance. It was him who chose this dance form because there is a lot of intimacy involved, the moves ar aggressive and bold. And Rudra wanted exactly that.

Before he began dancing, he watched her for a minute or two and knew then what he had to do. He wanted her to have a taste of his passionate streak and he showed it to her in his dance form.

Since I am passionate about dancing, well aware what the dance meant yesterday.

Technically then the show that must not be named, the male lead was in the same situation as Paro though vice versa. He had no practise sessions with KKG...and in fact the onus lies with the male partner to lead his lady on the dance floor. So according to me ASR should have faltered way more than Paro.Yet ASR nailed it there.

In the Tango there are lost of pushes and jerks that get the dancer to move. ANd she wasnt really doing that many dance moves. He was pulling and twirling her and most of it were twists and twirls!

Also note Paro said, "aisa mein nahi kar sakti" that means she has danced before on Rajasthani folklore music and her body is in sync with music. Dancers can just get up and move to any kind of music. And this is a hidden talent in Paro too. It was exposed and brought out by Rudra yesterday. There is a very passionate side to Paro as well.

I sincerely hope this helps to understand the whole dance segment.

loved your post BTW.🤗

It was indeed magical, and it was realistic, that is why it didn't seem abrupt for me to watch PaRud dance this dance form !! I loved the bit about her dancing on his toes too ! 😊

That's just it, for me it wasn't out of character, their dance was shown keeping their characters in mind. Paro knows how to dance, she just didn't know this particular dance form, and she didn't need too, because Rudra was supposed to lead her and make her dance.

Also agree with you, when it comes to TV, it is always best to enjoy the show, then go into all the minute details ! :)
