I'm wondering what Rudra is thinking these days...
I gather there has been a bit of a shift in his behavior since Paro saved his job in front of the social workers...he's in mellow mode right now...as mellow as it gets by Rudra standards😆
He's stopped shouting at Paro since and even if he's curt with her, it's just to the extent of his usual biting sarcastic remarks.
His magical 8 vows seem to have been forgotten by everyone except Mohini😆...and if questioned, Rudra has a "Meri marzi" type of response😆
He was always protective of Paro but the incidents since then have only heightened this characteristic...especially in the beginning scene today...he rushed to her side and calmed her down all protectively...the ever famous "shantt" made a return😆...he even tried oh so adorably awkwardly to brush the hair out of her eyes😆...clearly this is all very new and awkward for Rudra but when it comes to Paro, he tries, despite himself...when she panics, he can't help but respond despite himself and Paro follows him like a lamb, literally...that was the only analogy I could think of for the opening scene😆...and just in case I forgot this really was Rudra, he turns and blasts the people in the corridor for lingering around and staring😆

When they returned to the room, Rudra awkwardly apologetically explained why he left in a rush...then reassured her again that he's right there and she can go change.
I'm tempted to go all "yeh rishta kya kehlata hai" here😆...what is this instinctual understanding b/w them when it comes to this protector mode? Paro panics like a child and when she's in that mode, all of Rudra's resentment and anger seems to EVAPORATE😆...he was reassuring her like all is normal in this relationship.
And later on the tea making? Now sweet husband gesture aside...how does that gel with the vows he took? The specific one being he'll never give her ANY happiness? But here just cuz he noticed her confusion over the tea, he rushed to make it for her?
What do I conclude from this? That Rudra is inherently a nice guy but hides it behind layers and layers of bluster and anger?😆...
Or is this what one can call TRUCE mode? A Rudra who's subconsciously called truce after the social worker track and is acting accordingly with Paro...white flag mode...embellished with the ever present protector mode😆
