It was tanhayye sequence which I watched for the first time in D3. While surfing channels I just stopped to watch a tall, thin guy. He didn't have a hero like physique n was not doing any action stunt. But there was something in his eyes, his expressions that forced me to watch d3 for the first time. That's how I became a Swayam, SwaRon and D3 fan. Yes I started my d3 journey as a Swayam fan.
The face of Swayam is Shantanu maheshwari. His innocence and uniqueness brought the life in Swayam's character. Surely if shantanu would not have played Swayam, then Swayam would have been lifeless. Palki mam gave heart to Swayam's character and Shantanu gave him life. If today we can feel the emotions of Swayam, it's only because Shantanu's brilliant performances. He made all of us believe that swayam shekhwat can exist in real life.
As an actor I have seen him growing in past three years. From a cute and sweet lover boy to intense and passionate majnu, this growth of swayam's character has been witnessed by all of us in these three years. Be it letters burning scene or abandon corridor or classroom showdown or fight with papa or confession scene Shantanu has emoted brilliantly in each n every phase of swayam's life.
Never ever any fictional character has made me cry, but this guy always hit on the right chord and makes me cry by his performances. Be it dance or acting he is just perfect in each and every way. He can emote and express thorough his eyes and expressions so well. Hurt, pain, anger, happiness, rejection... n every damn emotion, Shantanu Maheshwari just perfectly delivers each and every emotion. No offence to any other actors but he is the best actor of d3 for me *period*. No one can actually match up with his acting level.
From last four months he was not given much scope to show his talent. But yesterday, he actually proves that if given right scene and dialogues, he will just kill it. Last night he was completely awesome, flawless _/\_. The way he enacted swayam's character was simply amazing. The way he was craving for Sharon, crying and hugging her looked so real and it directly touched my heart. His expressions and his eyes said everything. It was indeed his best performance in d3.
Thank u so much Shantanu for making swayam real. You are an awesome actor and human being and I am so proud to be your fan.
