Heres my humble take.


Yesterdays episode was just magnificent!!!!!


Loved it, loved it, loved it,.........o.k, I know I'm gushing but I can't seem to help myself, I am on cloud 9 and nothing's gonna bring me down today!!


For the sake of my good mood I'm not gonna think of Evil Kanival Karthik, or the mysterious Angad - Kripa haters....I'm gonna bask in the glory of Angad and Kripas reunion and what a beautiful one it was.


Someone posted the word meltdown previously, and m-e-l-t-d-o-w-n is what I had yesterday...Riveted to my t.v. screen, sighing at the entire beauty and magnificence of the entire stage scene....o.k, so they went the DTPH route once again, but I don't care.....it got us what we wanted.


Josh and Prithvi are darlings....finally getting through to Angad and Kripa....what I liked about this is how Josh, Angad's friend, spoke to Kripa.... and Prithvi, Kripa's friend, spoke to Angad.


Angad and Kripa had amazing chemistry during the performances, the carefree smile he had while dancing, the happiness of having her in his arms again...then the heart rendering lines as Angad finally fights for the only thing that's right in his world....his love for Kripa. For the life of me, I can't remember the exact dialogues but I'm gonna make it my mission to get them....definitely one of my fave's.


Rinku said..." words aren't always best"....I couldn't have put it better myself....Angad brought tears to my eyes once again with the conviction of his love shining through his eyes, his eyes just reiterated what he was saying to her....that's why she had such difficulty looking into those eyes and denying she loved him. We always maintained that no one could stand in the way of steamroller Angad, and that proved true in this case as well....Angad kept at her, insisting that she face her choices and admit that it was an injustice to their love to deny themselves....and she couldn't stand up to her false decisions.



Kripa was heart broken when he walked away and it belayed the words she was saying....eventually there was only one way to go, and that was to admit her love, fall into his arms where she so rightfully belong. She is afraid to loose him again, and there is credence to her fear, as she knows that there are people who will not be happy with their love for one another.


Angad once again proved the conviction of his love by asking Kripa's father for forgiveness, for another chance to bring Kripa all the happiness in the world and he proved how much he respected her parents by wanting their approval.


My heart cried for Prithvi.....He gained my utmost respect over the past few days.....he is a gem of a man, a true friend to sacrifice his happiness for the sake of our lovers, and Angad knows what a big sacrifice that is, after all, he did the same. Kripa's concern at her hurting her best friend and at the chance of loosing her friendship was excellently done, though Prithvi tried to hide his pain from her, she knows him so well, and understands that he is hurting, but her concern for his welfare is what drove her to seek him out. Right now Prithvi needs to be left alone to have the time to heal his shattered heart.

hmmm.. nits maybe it was :
1) Things went sooo quick .... u know last epi Krips gave an ultimatum and we kinda thought that she would take time ... u know bhao khai gee ya footage khai gee (how philmi is that) :) And evenutally when angad makes her jealous she will run back to him :)

or

2) ppl were a lil let down coz Ekta seems to be making Angad & Kripa mimic scene stealers from popularr movies ..... and this is something even I dont get :( why spoil the magic tnhat comes from original scenes??? I mean dont we luv the originality of the earlier angad kripa scenes??? Mango days and lipstick sindoor scenes .... remeber those .... they were original and sizzling at the same time :)

But offlate we have had too much copying from DTPH and other movies (Like saajan) etc .... so ok...we love these scenes. A-K re-acting these scenes : Sizzling but not quite original ...... so maybe this is what has let us down

There were some small niggles about yesterday's episode, but like i said... I'm on cloud 9 and I'm not gonna let anything get me down today....all that matters was that A-K were magnificent....they R-O-C-K-E-D!!!!

I would have loved seeing Kripa get jealous for once....turning of the tables so to speak...but as long as A-K are together....me I'm happy. 😃 😃 😃

I have to agree with you on this point...the rehashing of popular film scenes are just ...blagh. 😕

Angad and Kripa have amazing chemistry and it should be put to good use in the best of original scenes, like you mentioned....the mango days, lipstick sindoor, her b/day celebration....so on and so forth.

That's the only thing that slightly took by buzz away last night....but shrug it off and bask in the glory of Angad and Kripa together again...finally!

I think its option 2, you are right Angad Diwani, Ekta wanted to introduce the new character soon to create some drama, hopefully the scenes are more original.

U know what Nits, reeps mentioned this in her post the spark b/w A-K seems to be toning down or is not as intense as it used to be & u cited the maturity of the couple as being one of the reasons for that, chnaged circumstances is another :) Rite u r . But am also reminded of This Golden Oldie by Madam Noorjehan:

" Mujh sey pehli sey mohabbat meray mehboob naa Maang"

This melancholic song symbolises love ( or rather its pain)beautifully. The woeful singing about the changed nature of r/ships due to circumstances and yes... the vagaries of life.

Nits and Hafsa di—what can I say, but that I get influenced by your insightful thoughts and you all put your feelings so beautifully in words. Nits I have been here only and how can I resist replying to your awesome posts!

Nannu—you are just tooooooooooo nice and I definitely agree with you on Nits and HAfsa di being great writers. I love you for always being such a darling!!!

Hafsa di—your post was simply too good and I agree with pretty much everything you said except for one statement that you made—"she couldn't stand up to her false decisions." I don't think Kripa's decisions were false, but that her state of mind was in chaos. It's not that she didn't know her love, it's just she had a hard time comprehending with her heart and mind running against each other. She always felt for Angad only, but couldn't let go off Prithvi because of her guilt towards "respect vs. love." She might have decided at first to marry Prithvi, but that was because she wanted his happiness also. Her choice at first showed that she placed morals over love—but she knew that would only make everyone unhappy. Her decision could have been wrong, but she chose to listen to her heart in the end. Well, I am really glad that didn't stand up to decisions that would only bring misery to their hearts and lives in future! Way to go…none other than the path to Love!
