What to define today's episode? Most likely Aliya's perfect version of Utopia where everyone is happy and sound like a big happy family.. For per the episode, the tale was belivable but yet in the back of our minds, as audience, we truly wish Barkat is not fake, because all these dreams and these moments are for short period only.
Scenes I liked:
1. Zain vs Zain. I liked the contrast of the characters shown here. We can see how much Zain has really grown as character from episode one. There were two Zain. One was from the beginning, the carefree guy who came to Bhopal, someone that doesn't think before he speaks and is happy go lucky while other one is more reserved, more thinks before he speaks; An Aliya's Version of Zain. So we had two Zain and the tussle between them of head and heart. Beautifully shot and executed scene! Harshad was SUPERB SUPERB in this sceneš
2. Suriya welcomes Aliya's family in the right way ,and declares Aliya to be her daughter. This was a surprise and a shock at the same time, but giving how the story is moving, we can all expect Suri to be the perfect mother in law in Aliya's utopia and I guess they cannot possible show Suriya to be all mad at Aliya at least not yet. But the scene was short and sweet. Adored how happy Aliya's parents were. It was like a relief that their daughter was safe and happy.
3. Barkat- Ayat. This was a pretty cute moment.. Tell me how Barkat found about everyone is very confusingš but it was a really cute moment. I can totally see them gelling in the future...provided that she's not fake š but at this moment, if we only had Rizwan.. Missing him man.
4. Shazia and Nafesa- They are not exactly a scene but their expressions on seeing the Aliya's utopia was really funny. Esp when Barkat asks what are we doing today and she goes Party. The expressions on everyone's face was so bang onš and her expressions - Shazia was pricelessāļø
Why do I have a feeling that it's gonna be these two to dig out that this aint the real Barkat?š
5. Aliya-Zain: These little cute moments are adorable. Him holding her hand and telling her that he's waiting for her was so cute.. It's like they are friends yet they cannot be friends. They are only meant to love š³.
6. Aliya is LATE, Barkat-Zain: Why is this scene so good? Because we get double Zain again! It's funny how Barkat is so blind not see the love, but of course, who needs her? Let's go back to the double Zain scene: and Zain 1 is def my favorite.. He's so freaken adorable and I am so reminded of the bhopal scene.. Love is indeed in the air.. Aliya refuses to go but then says she's going for Barkat, not for him. It's too cute. I love how they cannot let go of their kitkit and how they are using Barkat to mask their feelings.
On another note; can we please get Barkat to understand that Zain is her BROTHER. The looks she gives him.. oye doyeš„±
Love how Suri gives the party's full responsiblity to Aliya. Gosh, Shazia and Nafesa's expresions were so funnyš Suri knows these two so wellš
As much as I dig Suri being awesome with Aliya, I am so afraid of the storm coming when she finds out that Barkat aint real.
Anyhow, Suri gives party to Aliya and at the same time, Aliya is worried for Zain's impending anger played by the classic fast tune of BI. Overall, a pretty good episode šš¼
Today's episode ; belonged to everyone.. Everyone had their own amazing layers as characters and as actors too.
Precap: ZaYa a bit song sequence ; I guess Zain 1 is overseeing Aliya while Zain 2 waits outside, pretty messy sequence and is that Meri Maula is the song sequence?
