Madhuri Dixit as Durga or Adi Shakti

Vidya Balan as Draupadi

Manoj Bajpayee as Yudhisthira

Anupam Kher as Shakuni

Deepti Naval as Kunti

Jackie Shroff as Duryodhan

Chandrakant Nayak as Dhritarashtra

(other people that aren't famous actors or actresses that no one cares about LOL)

Not sure how many have seen it but here it is ... but here are my takes on it -- taking into account that it's an animation meant for little kids (but nonetheless a family entertainer), it's creepy watching the faces of actors as the faces of these animations ... AnimatedDraupadi is an evil witch that I absolutely hate ... and the number of distortions is hilarious. Of course it's a 2 hour animation so we win some and lose some, but I am not pleased with the animation one bit.

Yes she was! We cry that Star Plus has destroyed Mahabharat, people should watch that, Draupadi has been shown in such a vile way that we start hating that character!

That abhimanyu volunteering to go into the chakravyuh scene was so heart wrenching .. stupid AnimatedDraupadi...

I can't believe I'm saying this, but even Starbharata scores in terms of characterization as compared to this film Of course we cant really compare as both have different formats.

I think 'Arjun-thewarrior prince' is a much better film with some very good graphics and superior animation techniques. Also, the writing is commendable and does justice to Arjun's character.

exactly right. Arjun-The Warrior Prince was pretty epic. Even the voices of these "star" actors don't seem to make this Mahabharata animation that good, not to mention how ugly (no offense fans of those actors but it's the truth) each character looks. Krishna for example -- ewww... Draupadi ... yuck ... Drona 🤣

I wonder - would you place EK's crappy MB above this animation?

Yeah I agree with the faces of the characters. Krishna was played by Shatrughan Sinha?! And in their decision to give the characters faces of known stars, one can hardly figure out which emotion the character is portraying.

I have not dared to watch Ekta's MB, barring one or two episodes. And they were enough to convince me that no adaptation can come even close to usurping it's hallowed place at the bottom😃

IIRC Sinha was approached with choosing whatever role he wanted to play and he chose Krishna ...

OMG i so agree with this.

before the scene when dury comes to see the palace of illusions Draupadi is dressing up and Arjuna asks her why and she says that she wants Duryodhana to get lost in her beauty or get captivated by her something to that effect.I was so shocked i had to hear the dialogue again and arjuna was laughing at this dialogue😆.And then when Duryodhan does come and gets lost in her beauty and falls into the pond she laughs and says her famous line.Then yudi comes and tells her she should not have done this so she says Duryodhan insulted me in the swayamabar i have insulted him back makes a face and walks away

i started laughing so hard that i stopped watching.Please tell me what other evil thing she did

well when the Pandavas find out about the Drona's chakravyuh - Abhi steps up and is like I'll enter it! Bhim is like yeah, so it's decided Abhi will be our commander tomorrow. Yuddhi refuses saying if something happens to Abhi, what will he tell Arjun.

So the Witch steps forward and says Arjun didn't say anything when I was staked during the dice game. So why are you stopping him from displaying his valor on the battlefield. If he was my real son (sahga putra), then I would have ordered him right now.

Anyway another stupid part

Abhi breaks the chakravyuh and enters and the Shakuni says "well done son well done .. you will obviously raise the name of the Pandavas. I'm proud of you" and he embraces Abhi ... Duryodhan comes from behind and stabs him. and then everyone stabs him while Bhim watches ...
