"Paro is perfect" I was never in two minds about it.
But all of us definitely don't want to look fools who waste our time on a brilliant actress and excellent human being.
I really have very limited knowledge about the trp but to some extent agree with the point on "woman's point of view". See if I take my own example, I always easily connect and get convinced by my mother rather than my father, though both of them love me equally like hell and for any issue both have the same opinions.
Therefore I feel something is lacking which if present would have attracted the general audience and this hurts is as we are Sanaya Irani's fans we don't want the show to face an immature death.
Forget about general audience, why even some people get chances to bash Paro's character?
Here I have seen one person without any circumstantial evidence always seems to possess an evil tendency to demoralize Paro's character crossing all lines and lengths.
Another always experiments on how to destroy Paro aka Sanaya's image.
Ipk was my first daily soap and Khushi fascinated me, but people like Paro exist in my real world, only Paro is not as highly educated and up to date like them.

Thanks and bye.

To me it isn't a question about the actors playing each of the roles. To me it is the character progression that is inconsistent. Forget Sanaya and Paro.

Lets take Ananya's portrayal of KCM. Ananya ji is a very renowned artist. Her character started off so well, but now it has gone to the point where her mere presence in the show gets irritating. there was absolutely no character progression for Mohini. The same holds true for every single character in the show except for Rudra.

Coming to Paro, I'm not going to question Sanaya's choices. Its her decision to make, and she has her reasons for accepting a show. After the incidents of the past show where it was shut down irrespective of her hard work, she might have wanted a show where she didn't have to work 24 hrs a day and give it all constantly. She has been working together for years and working in TV is gruelling.

What I question is the lack of balance in story telling and character progression.

To me it isn't a question about Sanaya or Ashish at all, it is question about the inconsistencies in their characterisation.

NB this is in no way a response to ur post. cz u and I are on the same page on that one despite having different perceptions of Paro at this moment. cz I saw ur response about the romanticizing the quitting and staying home some on this forum seems to do. And that is where I stand too.

And i completely agree that Ananya's character is stagnant.. she doesn't have any expressions, any reactions to give that she hasn't already done to death with.

But while we r on side characters on the other hand I have seen lovely character progression for Maitili and Kakaji as well as Dilsher. They get little time, but in so far i am very happy with the way their characters are progressing.

So I agree partially to ur concerns.. but this is not a topic about it.. I am just questioning that if Paro is quiet and accepting one moment with passive serenity and in the other moment she is actively working towards to get what she wants, yet displaying an endearing naivety that might make Paro seem inconsistent to some. But does that necessarily waste Sanaya's talent? cz she has to exert herself to play both of those ends..and make it convincing in that specific scene, while if the flow of that is wrong from one scene giving one impression and the 2nd one giving another its a flaw of the writers and not the actor playing it. And she is not taking her popularity for granted and wasting her own talent cz she as an actress plays each singular scene to perfection!

You are one person on this forum I have complete respect for, cz I know ur POV would be even more balanced and unbiased than even I can ever come up with. So I actually keep a look out to it to figure out how far skewed my own judgement is cz of my allegiance to San that may sometimes cloud my opinions..
So honestly this isn't to dispute the points u brought out. Only addressing another slightly different bunch altogether..
thank you for taking the time to read and respond 🤗

This role and Sanaya for this role are perfect for eachother😛

Its amazing how she adapts so effortlessly😛

From a bubbly,crazy Khushi to a subtle,soft spoken Paro👏

Thanks for your detailed reply. I thought sanaya got Paro spot on in the initial episodes. In fact most people weren't convinced back then, but I felt she potrayed Paro with such refined elegance, grace and vulnerability, which is a complete opposite to her real life personality. However last month I have found it inconsistent. Its obvious that she doesn't have a consistent character to play since Teju's truth. And this is where I agree with SJ, as an actress Sanaya should start asking questions about her character and not blindly follow what is written for her. I thought she was brilliant last friday, lets hope the fabulous work continues.
