Sports: Talk about world peace...

Yeah talk about adminstrations preaching world peace, (*loud and sarcastic) we should not fight and spread the message of world peace blah..blah..blah.

Right under thier nose, such people place thier bets on boxers to win the fight by knock out, not necessarily but point am trying to convey is, when we seek peacefull world why encourage any kind of physical hurt in the name of sports. Yup I understand physical injuries are part of the game but deliberately encouraging such acts in the name of Judo, Boxing, free wresting etc . Justified?

Havn't heard any anti comments on such sporting events, if there are please enligthen me. Thanks!

I don't understand that sport termed as boxing. I live with some fans of it, who have failed to convince me why it is sporty! I really find it brutal and unnecessary 😳😳😳- my opinion delivered in the mildest form 😆😆😆

very good topic. this topic startled me, talking about peace and then encouraging such sports. i have never encountered such situation neither heard about such people but i have watched these sports and i will straddle this issue if its unfair or not 😛

Bingo..Never understood these games...Even the game of Kabaddi, I feel its brutal...In one of the sports meets in school times, my brother's team went into the finals of kabaddi and I still cannot wipe it away from my memory, how he bleeded through nose but still did not give up trying to touch that line or whatever 🤢 😭 ...

People like to be winners and people who cannot win in real lives, live through these boxers etc and fantasize themselves as the winners..Insecure people, I tell you!

...Even the game of Kabadd - we play everyday .. on IF in other words its like holding and leg pulling😆

I have never understood why boxing and such sports are played.. WWF is the worst... cannot bear to watch it. If they are promoting world peace through such type of sports then it is really surprising and are contradicting their sport.

Talking a tangent for the sake of debate.

Sports is something everyone enjoys, any spicy to the way sports is played brings entertainment.

Forget Boxing/ Wrestling - don't we enjoy other sports involving countries?

Such sports are -ve way of enjoying the excitement that curtails the negativity. Ask your would you like to watch action packed India / pakistan rather then Ranji trophy.. in spirit of game / competetion any game is justified. No? explain
