Sad demise of JW...

Okay, is anyone else as sorry as I am today to see the absolute death of JW? For just a day or two we saw the old JW back - the shrewd and ruthless business tycoon we got to love, but then today he has been killed and reduced to nothing short of a clown - in front of his family and in front of his staff. What was the reason for making him look like a fool? Why was this angle necessary in the storyline? Why couldn't they just show a pleasantly shocked JW at the sight of Bani who makes a silent vow to bring her back into his life and get to the bottom of everything to find out what happened? Would that be less dramatic in Ekta's surreal world? Why does Ekta feel that blasting a bomb somehow ties the loose ends of her irrational and ridiculous storyline? I have never seen a more silly episode of KS as I did today - it's so sad to see the out and out destruction of a powerful character. Sorry guys but I had to get the frustration off of my chest.

Forgive me if I cannot be as optimistic as you are...literary creativity is a trait and is not whimsical in nature that one day it will be mind-blowing yet another day it will be utter nonsense. I think the new creatives have lost their touch or never had it to begin with. Even Friday's episode where JW gives his car away to a group of beggars was ridiculous and unreal. Real life has nothing to do with it. I think they should hire some of the IF members who regularly write brilliant stories for the fan fictions. They do a far better job than these silly creatives who seem to be nothing better than drunken primates hitting on the keyboards to come up with a story. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I agree with what you have written.

The Creatives are completely off JW's characterisation and they are so challenged that they dont know what to do with either him or with Bani. That is why we get to see such lacklustre episodes.

After the 5 yr leap, they could have shown JW to have become that man who kept to himself, and had a no nonsense attitude towards life. Was immersed in business and went about weighing everything carefully before taking a decision. After all, he has also suffered in these 5 years, for whatever reason it might be.

I would have appreciated to see him getting shocked after seeing Bani and realising that she is very much alive. And yes, making a promise silently that he will clear all misundersatndings between them and woo her back to his life.

As for Bani, I would have loved to see her maternal side coming to the fore when she sees her children for the first time and the happiness through the pain, the feeling of great loss and sadness. Instead they show her as the leader of the bachha party when she is with the kids.

I dont mind new characters being introduced but I do mind the gradual butchering of the chief protagonists which ultimately will not help KS in the LR. And the TRPs are also doing abysmally I gathered.

this is a trend that is followed for every strong character in K-serials. in the beginning they are like 'conquerers' and gradually they become 'puppets' in the hands of........ so many are there.

Hi,

I thought the way in which jai Walia acted today was great.....I think I had a grin as big as his when I watched the video.

A man who is so inlove with his wife has shown everyone today that just the sight of her has changed him.......The time that she was away from him he resented life, but now that she is back, he wants to live again. Today Jai Walia has confirmed that there is only one person that can evoke such changes in him, bring him back to life....his Bani.

I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like to find someone you had been seperated from for so many years, so I think Jai's portrayal of his feelings were perfect......!

During the last five years Jai's life was worthless so that's how he treated everyone else...and today he has found his soulmate so he wants everyone around him to be happy.

Don't get me wrong I have always loved the RB Jai Walia rather then the soppy Jai Walia, but to be honest I wanted to see a changed man once he saw Bani. I wanted Ekta to show the audience that there is only one person who can change Jai Walia....his Bani, and thats what they've done.

Throughout this 1.5 years I have always wanted to see a love struck Jai Walia. He's said on numerous times that he loves Bani.....but there has been something lacking. Maybe because it was never love at first sight for either of them. But today he is acting like a lovestruck teenager, which Jai has never done before-not even with Pia and he's always said that she was his first love.....so I think this episode is special....

I welcome this Jai Walia....the only thing I would be upset about is if Jai Walia openly destroys himself to get Bani back. I would like to see a smart and flirtatous Jai Walia towards Durga, and someone who gives as good as he gets when AD strikes. At the same time it would be great to see him keep ploying with Rano and his kids to get Bani back.

I'm sorry.....I've probably rambled on and on. Its just my own point of view and I hope I haven't offended anyone.

Rakni...

Agree with u, thoug i hav nothing aginst JW being happy but at same time he should be shown thinking rather than acting like love struck teenager..i mean he saw his wife whom he thinks to be dead ,he has every right to behahpy and share his happiness and be in cloud 9 but at same time i expected the creatives to show him shocked ,its liek u see ur dead wife alive the first reaction has to be of shock and after failing to tarce her he must be start questioning himself as why is she stying awau??wr must have been she all these yrs??

Nikitha...
I understand ur POV,but the discussion is not abt JW exactly but the way creatives are failing to handle situations which hav greater scope to explore the char and show the actor acting ability but they are failing again and again in this dept.
Such scnes wr they could hav out done when thy hav such talented actors(agree RK was great in the scne)but dont u think if handled in other way round teh scene would hav come much better but all they are doing is simply making it into a laugh riot

I'm really happy that at last he met her after long 5yrs.......so naturally he would be very happy........love is blind.....it sometimes make us do wierd things....He madly loves his Bani more than anything in the world n when he found her alive before him he has every right to behave like that but giving his car key n wallet to beggers!!!!don't know.....they could h've shown it in a more sensible way.......but RK portrayed it very well..... I too agree with you to some extent....Now they h've reduced him to a very weak character...these creatives(destructives) h've no sense ...they don't listen to us .....so better leave those things ........sorry if I offended anyone....so now a days I watch this show just to see my favorite couples on screen....if we think about logic n other factors .....we should shut our eyes and go ahead...I don't mind AD helping DDG...but inorder to glorify this character they are sidelining the main protagonists unecessarily..I h've stopped thinking too much about these things.....it w'll eat our brain...I'm just waiting to see JB in the same frame...I agree with you .....they should adopt some of our brilliant ff writer's storyline...I'm still a JB despo....they make me hooked to this show....JW is a fictional character....but whatever it is I love to see RK n PD's performance... 😊
