I am not sure. Previously Jalal's worldview, under BK's influence, was as a fighter who had to conquer other people. So he disguised himself and went to enemy lands to check them out.

Exploring his own kingdom as commoner for his own people's good was Jodha's influence. She gave him that green robe as a gift and they ventured out into the village. He liked the results and did it again a few times. Unfortunately, last time he was spying on Jodha herself. :)

as i said jodha's influence is about sum social issues. but its not true tht he didnt thought about their welfare without jodha's influence. he went to malwa bcoz adham was torturing his "awam". he was out of agra for many years as a fighter so its natural he didnt knew many things. he always values the gud advises & he did the same with jodha's advise. yes he is doing it frequently now bcoz he was not in agra for many years. but its not true tht never went into the people before.

Yes of course he valued as well as reciprocated loyalty and did not have to learn from Jodha. What we are discussing here isthe limited issue of dressing up as a commoner to explore his kingdom in order to help his subjects. The serial depicts that as Jodha's influence.

Another subtte difference between the two is that while Jalal reciprocated loyalty and was exceptionally kind to those he regarded as his own, he wasn't particularly kind to common folk - recall how he practically molested that woman in the marketplace and how pointlessly.

Jodha on the other hand has this streak of being kind to everyone, perhaps foolishly at times. To the extent Jalal is going out of the way to help even poor strangers who have not and probably cannot do much for him, that appears to be Jo's influence.

You seemed to be irked by the thought that Jo could have influenced him in any way. Why is that? :) This forum is getting politicized between J and A!

I am only talking about the story as it has been presented to us. I do agree that now Jalal is getting an unfair share of the blame, whereas Jodha and especially Sujamal's judgment and conduct have received a more lenient scrutiny. It is all dating back to that explosion in the hojra. You wish he had been a little cooler, she a little hotter. :) But that is now. It does not alter the fact she did influence Jalal to go out and mingle with his common awaam and to think of their welfare.

By the way, what did happen to Abdul? He was such a good friend to Jalal, a calming influence, and a rare person in Agra who wasn't conspiring against him. (Zaheer, we know he was blinded by BK and later "suicided" by MA.)

you have written my thoughts

Jalal has dream to make entire indian continent one and that will never change jodha or no jodha. From age of 13 when he became emperor that remians and all life it will remain

Jalal by nature is terribly loyal and caring of family and friends even if they betray him he forgives easily be it adham, sharifu, BK etc

BK tried to do bhagawat that was punishable by death yet what does jalla do adopt his son give him his name protect him. Even jehangir writes rahim was step son of akbar not son of bairam khan when he died in his autobiography.

Jalal was not someone who made friends who are equals he made friends outside his rank soldiers, maids sons(adham, atagah's son), servants

Jalal treated dai ma and foster father's with respect due to one owns mother-father. All kings had daima and foster ftahers especially mughals and even hindu kings. Why their dai ma and foster fathers we do not remember or kinow. Because their foster sons never gave them that importance or respect that jalla gave his dai ma and foster fathers.

Jalal went out as commoner touring enemy riyasat, why he never toured agra and his riyasat CVs can explain only. But he allowed all freedom of worship even before jodha came in life. He allowed jodha to retain her faith

All this show he was good from before only. If an person is not good by birth no amount of wife, parents, teachers, friends advicing him changes his nature. Its inborn quality cannot be taught by any human to anyone else. If such things could be thought why good parents have criminal kids and viceversa. Then we can remove all jails etc give only love all humans will become good. But in psychology that is incorrect. Humans do not change for love, advice, care etc only if they want to inherently they change. But their basic nature never changes remains same all life.

Lol ikr i was thinking same with jodha I mean she may have toned it down but her face is still theor and she has a solid gold murti roaming plus solid gold bangles they are supposed to recognize as their queen too or atleast as someone some royal runaway
and I seriously started laughing when those girls ran away from shehensha yesterday I mean oh godd he's the ruler of the mughal saltanat people are supposed to recognize him. but maybe those people have never travelled the distance to see their emperor nor did the emperor travell the distance to meet them but i think somehow people should still figure it because "talk spreads like wildfire" people everywhere would be talking about the emperor I mean c'mon man

Also being an emperor he would be receiving the nes best health treatments instead it should be those soldiers withering and not him he has the expenses to get himself the best healthcare

👏👏👏 really stupid -_-

With mughal rulers they travelled a lot for war, to tour empire etc they never stayed in one fort or place and wherever they went they held durbar(DEA) and gave audience to local citizens from jharoka or tent so atleast a few know who akbar is for sure. Because he has ruled for 7 years and in these years he travelled a lot and gave darshan too in jharoka or tent to local so many people on way recognize him as emperor few did not that is OK they may never have seen him

Nothing very deep, but I still found a couple things noteworty -

(1) Why does anyone not recognize the Emperor?

I mean he is not in some far-flung border area. He is searching for Jodha near his capital. He is in his royal garb. He is accompanied by soldiers carrying some kind of flag. After all this, there appears to be no recognition of him as the Emperor, but people basically ask, "Who are you?"

(2) Why is Jalal getting so tired when his soldiers look fresh?

OK, I know he has had a sadma and all. However, let's face it, he is traveling on the horseback whereas his soldiers are on foot. As far as I can see they all cover the same distance. So why is only Jajal looking so wiped out?

It is becuase he is emotionally drained out and it happens when you aare sad.. you dont feel like eating anything.. he is tired also due to lack of sleep.. thinking about Jo all might.. so through he is on horse back he is mentally very worried and stressed about his beloved begum and so its obvious.. he has to look more tired..

1.
It was the 15th century. Televisions were not available that time \for teh aam janta. So it was VERY unlikely for the subjects to even have a glimpse of their emperor, apart from a lucky few.

2.
Its his wife who has gone missing. Not the soldiers wives' 😛 He probably hasnt eaten at all and is having sleepless nights.Must as well be hallucinating. Also thinking of dangerous situations Jodha must have gotten herself into.

3.
This is JA. There rarely has been logic associate din the show mate :D
