I am on my way back home after yet another 'escapism from reality' attempt I undertake when I become uncomfortable and unhappy with myself and feel the need to vent out the frustrations of my limitations and deficiencies into self chosen loneliness than on those who I love ---- I loved this line and somewhere it felt familiar to me. Don't we all do this escapism from reality? I did..

It's been long ago, but fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday. The problem is I can't seem to forget, when the whole world conveniently has, all those ill treatments that I dished out to her only because I was not brave enough to face the reality. ---Again something which I feel I can relate to. At a point in my life I too was like your Arnav, wasn't brave enough to face the reality and reacted violently without pausing to think the hurt I will be causing my dear ones...

Arnav Singh Raizada, who has cracked hundreds and thousands of deals could not even drill a hole in her will power.--- Aha! Isn't this the reason why we love Khushi? The will power Khushi exhibited even though at times it was over kill, we all derived strength from it and her hope and faith in DM (the original ;-))

Maximus (that's what she calls my white SUV, after she saw that ridiculous fairy tale movie, Tangled) --- Oh I just loved this...I love this movie and Flynn Rider and Mazimus's bond...It was simply good...Flynn Rider is my price charming..Ha ha!

Living in the memory of the bitter past will mar the beauty of the present". --- That's a lovely piece of advice U! Very true words..

I shall begin by saying something which I'm sure you must have heard for numerous times...this does not seem like a first attempt at writing😊

Arnav's redemption has been a hot topic among FF writers predominantly owing to the poor treatment by the CVs in the show. I have liked many of those that I have read, and I'm happy that through this OS, another adds up to the list.

It was different in the way that there was the reminiscence of both the good and the bad from the past and even a major part of the present. What came as a surprise was that the person who was victimized was the one who healed faster(true to her nature) than the perpetrator. But then such is Arnav.

I loved how you used the anniversary of Payal and Akash as trigger for his nightmares. Also endearing was the reason behind naming Arnav and Khushi's daughter as Vandana.

And Maximus...that was a good one😆

Loved it!
