Great post Jonee...yes episode was really good, a lot better than what I expected when I first saw the segment...once again proves that the segments tell incomplete story and we shouldn't reach to conclusions until we watch the episode 😆
They handled Swati's death very well and like u said its gud that they didn't drag it. Finally Swati's chapter is wrapped up...longest chapter I have come across 😆
Loved the last scene...it was executed beautifully...the vulnerable and emotionally broken Shlok crying his heart out, strong and supportive Astha by his side sharing his pain, the hand holding, the hug, everything was heart touching. Yesterday perhaps for the first time we saw very clearly that how emotionally vulnerable Shlok actually is...the tough, stone-hearted, arrogant exterior he hides behind is actually there to protect himself from getting hurt and betrayed again...after all the two people he was closest to apparently broke his trust and betrayed him...yesterday while confronting Anjali, he said that she may not have a heart but he does, he's a fool who has feelings and emotions...this was very rightly said...out of all the Agnihotris he is most emotional and vulnerable to being hurt
in reality he is a very emotional guy who has an ability to love people..and when they do they give their entire self to that person as we saw in the case of Swati...when he loved her, he gave his whole self away to her...his every thought and action started and ended with Swati...he learnt new things just because he thought it wud make her happy...he gave his total 100% commitment to it...that's the real Shlok. Now that Swati's chapter is closed for him, we will start to see the real Shlok return. I am sure we will soon see him love Astha the same way...he will give his entire self away to his relationship with Astha 😳
Btw this scene that u mentioned..."shlok letting go of swati's hand when she dies and him looking at her photo which blurs and aastha's real image comes in is place"...I love that u mentioned it...this scene was very symbolic for me, perhaps one of the best moments of yesterday's episode...rightly said, this small apparently insignificant shot says so much about Astha's place in Shlok's life. After seeing just this simple shot, no one should have a doubt about Shlok's feelings and importance of Astha in his life. Kudos to Waseem for his wonderful direction and giving us such meaningful and symbolic scenes 👏
