These words echoed veera's ears as she felt very guilty for what she had said in anger.
It was late night. RanJan were not at home and she found the perfect opportunity to slip out of the house.
She reached his house and knocked.
The door was opened by bansuri.
Bansuri- veera? Tu inni raat ko yaha?
Veera- vo... Taayi ji.. Baldev se kuch zaroori kaam tha.😕
Bansuri- baldev? Vo toh garage me hai, apni bike theek kar raha hai.
Veera- jee mai jaake dekh leti hu.
Bansuri- veera... Koi baat hai ki? Baldev ne subah se kuch khaaya tak nahi hai aur abb keh raha hai ki use akella chadd doon.
Veera- M..M... Mai dekhti hu.. Aap chinta matt kariye...

Veera went to the garage to find baldev engrossed in repairing his bike.
Veera- ahem! Ahem!
Baldev looked up at her. Rolled his eyes which were filled with pain. And then looked away.
Baldev- kya kar rahi hai tu yaha?🥱
Veera- tu kahi jaa raha hai?😕
Baldev- tenu ki? Chup chaap bata kya kaam hai?😡
"kaise kahu... Kya kahoo??"
She thought. Baldev looked back at her and sat on his bike to ride away.

He went away and veera was helpless.
Cold wind, rainy whether, dark forest, full moon night and baldev's bike broke down again.
Baldev- khotya!!! Ye bhi abhi karaab honi thi!!!

He got down and dragged his bike to the side of the road.
He looked how dirty it had become due to the mud on the road.
Baldev- eh inni gandi bhi ho gayi hai...!!
He knelt down to analyse the damage.
Suddenly he stopped what he was doing.
Baldev- kyu aayi tu yaha!!??🥱
Veera, who was hiding behind a tree.. got scared.😕

Baldev- bahar nikal! Yaha chupa chupi khelne toh nai aayi hai na tu!!!

Veera- mai bike leke nahi aayi.
Baldev- kyaa?? Tu paidal aayi yaha tak?? Inni door!😲😲
Veera- paidal nahi, daudd ke aayi... mai bike se aati toh tenu pata chal jaata aur tu...
Baldev- shhh!!!!! Gadhi hai tu ek number ki!!!😡
Veera was silent. Baldev fussed.
Baldev- ek kaam dhang se nai kar sakti tu!!😡

With a faint thunder sound; it started raining.
Veera- haawwwhhh!!! Baarish???😲

They ran and took shelter in a nearby shed.
{it was a perfect shed for the two... meant to be for them so everything was available there including privacy 😳😆}
Both were half drenched.
Baldev looked at veera who was in a white and blue kurti and her wet hairs were spread around her face and she looked so beautiful.

Veera noded. Baldev went out and dragged the bike into the shed. He was totally wet. He came in and took off his court. Veera could not stop her eyes from noticing his physique.
He ran his fingers through his wet hair and this gave veera chills.

He gave a side look to her , spread his kurta on the dry hay and squatted to repair his bike.

She got angry and went away.
Baldev- (to himself)- dekhta hu kab tak bahar bhatak paati hai akele.
It was nearly an hour and veera wasn't back. Baldev was tensed now. He went out looking for her.
It was still raining heavily.
Baldev- veeraaa!!! Oye! Kitthe chali gayi ye ladki..!!

He looked for her helplessly.
And finally found her shivering and sitting on a rock.
Baldev- veera!!!😲😕
He went to her and held her by her shoulders to pull her up.
Baldev- paagal ho gayi hai ki? Itthe ki kar rahi hai tu??!!😡😡

She was nearly fainting. He carried her back to the shed in his strong arms.
Veera circled his neck with her hands. She looked into his eyes, she could feel her suffering in it.
He laid her down on the hay and rubbed her palm. He was so tensed, he couldn't think of anything else.
Veera was lost in such a caring gesture.
She was shivering a lot... He knew she could catch severe cold if the wet kurti remained on her body. It could have been dangerous.
Baldev (putting her head on his lap)- veera... Tu sona matt.. Theek hai.. Jaagti rehna...
But she was totally in her senses till then.
Veera- theek hai baldev.
Baldev- aur tujhe ye... Vo... Ye... Uhmmm!!😕
He went and brought his kurta which was dried up by then.
Baldev- ye le aur... Ise pehen le.. Geele kapde se teri tabiyat aur bigad jayegi,
He gave the kurta to her and turned his back towards her.

Veera took a couple of minutes to slip into his kurta.
Veera- ho gaya baldev.

Baldev- abb tu baith itthhe mai kahi se aag jalaane ka intezaam karta hu...

He gathered few dry wooden sticks, and started to light them up.
Veera stared at him.
Veera- mai gusse me thi baldev.😔
Baldev- mainu koi farak nai padtaa... Tere hisaab se toh mere liye eh sab majaak hai na... Toh bhool ja!
The fire lighted up and he stood up to leave but was stopped by veera.
She held his wrist tightly.

Veera- (lovingly taking his cheek in her palm)
Accha hua na .. Agar maine inna gussa na kiya hota toh aaj mainu pata kaise chalta ki tu sach me inna pyaar karta hai mujhse.

Baldev- chhadd iss baat nu abb veera. Mainu koi matlab nai hai abb tujhse!

He was standing with his back towards her.
She kept her hand on his shoulder and tried to turn him around
